Where It All Began<br />

In 1946 <strong>Don</strong> Hall was a young Fort Wayne man with a<br />

background in the meat business, forty acres of swamp land,<br />

and a dream. The land was south of Fort Wayne on Bluffton Road,<br />

and the dream was of a Drive-In Restaurant on that land.<br />

The day after Thanksgiving that year, the dream became reality<br />

as he opened the first establishment of what would become one of<br />

the most unique restaurant groups in the country. As each new<br />

restaurant opened with it's own flair and personality, there<br />

remained key connecting principles for quality, service and value<br />

he demanded of them all.<br />

It is our dedicated commitment to these principles, and the loyal<br />

patronage of all those who “notice the difference” that ensure<br />

<strong>Don</strong> <strong>Hall's</strong> Restaurants continued success and growth. Thanks to a<br />

dream and that cold November day in 1946 when it all began,<br />

we've been serving it hot for over 60 years.
