Swish hotels are all well and good. But if you’ve got the kids
in tow, you need somewhere that will keep them smiling.
And this aparthotel ticks the boxes.
It’s built in low-rise style, so it looks and feels friendly from
the outset. Paved paths and lawns wend their way to the
poolside, where you’ll find sunloungers and parasols flanked
by palms. There are two pools side by side - one large
rectangular one and a smaller number for little ones.
Close by, a pool bar decked with wooden tables and
chairs provides a place to sit with drinks while you watch
over the pool.
Likewise, the interiors strike a good balance between
functionality and style. Take the lobby. It’s got more
than a hint of Ikea about it. Think chunky sofas, lots of
natural light and a vaulted, aircraft-hangar-style ceiling. The
apartments, meanwhile, mostly draw praise for being
spacious and well equipped. They’re bright and comfortable
with large balconies.
Finally, there’s the location. It’s very quiet, first
and foremost. If you want the beach, there’s a picturesque
cove a five-minute walk down the road and a smattering of
other beaches within easy reach as well.
