Using Duden – Die deutsche<br />
Rechtschreibung<br />
This dictionary is the standard for German spelling based on the new, official regulations,<br />
to look up the obligatory spelling of words, division of words and regulations.<br />
In addition, the functions ‘Rechtschreibprüfung’, ‘Kreuzworträtsel lösen’, ‘Anagramm<br />
lösen’ and ‘Duden-Regeln’, which are the rules for the German spelling and punctuation,<br />
are available in this menu.<br />
Looking up a word by Filter search<br />
A definition of a word can be looked up by inputting its spelling.<br />
<br />
Find the information for ‘gelb’.<br />
1. Press d to open Duden – Die deutsche<br />
Rechtschreibung.<br />
The input screen appears.<br />
2. Type in the spelling of ‘gelb’.<br />
As you type, candidates for matching narrow.<br />
If the desired word is found, then there is no<br />
need to type any more letters.<br />
3. Use { and } to move ‘ ’ to point at the desired word, then press e.<br />
The detail view of the word appears.<br />
