HP Compaq t5530 Thin Client
The HP Compaq t5530 Thin Client delivers a true desktop
experience for general office applications or your specific
business software. It's enhanced features make it ideal for
mainstream business use, with support for legacy ports,
ICA, RDP, terminal emulation, Windows Media Player, and
basic web browsing. The HP t5530 can provide easy
access to server-based computing solutions, HP’s
Consolidated Client Infrastructure (CCI), or various remote
desktop solutions.
HP thin clients provide proven business technology for high
security and lower ownership costs, and are easy to buy,
deploy, and manage with a great price-performance ratio.
Improved manageability
Manage thin clients, PCs, and servers end-to-end without a
vendor’s proprietary management tool through
industry-standard Altiris Deployment Solution. Full license
with every HP thin client. The HP-exclusive built-in HP
ThinState Tools allow administrators to change image or
settings on one “master” client, capture the new image
and settings on a USB flash drive or on the thin client itself,
and then deploy it to “target” thin clients. Fully integrated
with and licensed for HP OpenView Client Configuration
Manager for quick deployment of images and thin client
management. Upgrade images with FTP and DHCP image
update feature.
Better security
Store critical user data and applications on the secure,
centralised server. Smart card support for two-factor
authentication for secure access to your network. Two USB
ports inside a secure compartment help stop theft with USB
options hidden inside the client and out of your way. Great
for protecting USB wireless devices. Selectively disable
USB ports for enhanced security. Locked down
administrator and user passwords.
