Function description<br />

OUTPUTS PULSE/FREQUENCY OUTPUT (1...2) CONFIGURATION (PULSE)<br />

ASSIGN PULSE<br />

(4221) ! Note!<br />

This function is not available unless the PULSE setting was selected in the OPERATION<br />

MODE function (4200).<br />

Use this function to assign a measured variable to the pulse output.<br />

If you select OFF, the only function shown in the CONFIGURATION function group is<br />

this function, in other words ASSIGN PULSE (4221).<br />

PULSE VALUE<br />

(4222) ! Note!<br />

This function is not available unless the PULSE setting was selected in the OPERATION<br />

MODE function (4200).<br />

Use this function to define the flow at which a pulse is triggered. These pulses can be<br />

totaled by an external totalizer, and the total flow quantity since measuring started can be<br />

registered in this way.<br />

User input:<br />

5-digit floating-point number [unit]<br />

Factory setting:<br />

depends on nominal diameter and country,<br />

[value] [kg or lb] / impulse;<br />

corresponds to the factory setting for the pulse value (see page 189 ff.).<br />

! Note!<br />

The appropriate unit is taken from the UNIT MASS (0401), UNIT VOLUME (0403) or<br />

UNIT CORRECTED VOLUME (0405) function (see page 17 or page 19).<br />
