Function description<br />
OUTPUTS PULSE/FREQUENCY OUTPUT (1...2) CONFIGURATION (FREQUENCY)<br />
TIME CONSTANT<br />
(4208) ! Note!<br />
This function is not available unless the FREQUENCY setting was selected in the<br />
OPERATION MODE function (4200).<br />
Use this function to enter a time constant defining how the frequency output signal reacts<br />
to severely fluctuating measured variables, either very quickly (enter a low time constant)<br />
or with damping (enter a high time constant).<br />
User input:<br />
Fixed-point number 0.00...100.00 s<br />
Factory setting:<br />
0.00 s<br />
FAILSAFE MODE<br />
(4209) ! Note!<br />
This function is not available unless the FREQUENCY setting was selected in the<br />
OPERATION MODE function (4200).<br />
For safety reasons it is advisable to ensure that the frequency output assumes a predefined<br />
state in the event <strong>of</strong> a fault. The setting you select here affects only the frequency output.<br />
It has no effect on other outputs and the display (e.g. totalizers).<br />
Options:<br />
FALLBACK VALUE<br />
Output is 0 Hz.<br />
FAILSAFE VALUE<br />
Output is the frequency specified in the FAILSAFE VALUE function (4211).<br />
HOLD VALUE<br />
Measured value output is based on the last measured value saved before the error<br />
occurred.<br />
ACTUAL VALUE<br />
Measured value output is based on the current flow measurement. The fault is ignored .<br />

This function is not available unless FREQUENCY was selected in the<br />
OPERATION MODE function (4200) and FAILSAFE VALUE was selected<br />

Use this function to define the frequency that the measuring device outputs in the event<br />
<strong>of</strong> an error.<br />
