Use this function to assign a process variable to the current input.<br />

Use this function to define the current range. The selection specifies the operational range<br />

and the lower and upper signal on alarm.<br />

When switching the hardware from an active (factory setting) to a passive output signal,<br />

select a current range <strong>of</strong> 4–20 mA (See Operating Instructions <strong>Proline</strong> <strong>Promass</strong> 83, BA<br />

Use this function to assign a value to the 0/4 mA current.<br />

User input:<br />

5-digit floating-point number<br />

Factory setting:<br />

Dependent on the process variable assigned to the current input (see function ASSIGN<br />

CURRENT INPUT, 5200).<br />

– Pressure: 0 barg<br />

– Temperature: –50 °C<br />

– Reference density: 0.50 kg/Nl<br />

! Note!<br />

The appropriate unit is taken from the functions UNIT PRESSURE (0426), UNIT<br />

TEMPERATURE (0422) or UNIT REFERENCE DENSITY (0421).<br />
