Anticipated missions in the next year include<br />

an airborne ecological assessment of the<br />

island of Yap (Federated States of Micronesia),<br />

in partnership with the USFS, and ice<br />

roughness measurements of Arctic sea ice<br />

based from Svalbard Norway, in support of<br />

a <strong>NASA</strong>-funded UAV-IPY project. In preparation<br />

for this activity, the team plans cold<br />

weather operations testing in California,<br />

Utah, or North Dakota.<br />
