Students transferring from another college or university in the united states to
CSCC may not need to complete the compass placement test.
‣ If you have transfer credit (grade of C or better) for college-level English
and math, you do not need to complete the writing and math placement tests.
(You will need to provide official copies of your transcripts from the
institutions you attended.)
‣ If you plan to pursue a health major, you may need to complete the reading
placement test.
‣ New students with transfer credit for both math and English Composition,
call 614-287-5353 to schedule an appointment to meet with an advisor.
Be sure to bring a copy of your transcripts or other documentation (advising
report, grade report, unofficial transcript) from all colleges or universities
