121. – Special facility for Greeting cards and invitation cards. – As indicated in clause<br />
90 Book Packets are liable to in cases where they are likely to cause delay to letters if forwarded<br />
with them. Further, in the bigger <strong>office</strong>s where the volume of packets handled is heavy, such<br />
Second class mail matter is dealt with separately from First Class mails. As an exception,<br />
however, Book Packets containing only Greeting cards or printed invitations are given surface<br />
transmission along with First Class mails and Registered newspapers. To identify such Book<br />
Packets containing only Greeting Cards or printed invitations, they should be prominently<br />
superscribed “Greetings” or “Invitations” as the case may be below the indication ‘Book Packet’ at<br />
the top of the address side of the envelope.<br />
122. Special Provision. – With any of the articles mentioned in clause 120 may be sent<br />
anything that is necessary for their safe transmission through the post, such as rollers, etc. and any<br />
legitimate binding, mounting or covering, loose or attached and anything that ordinary appertains<br />
to such articles, as pens and pencils in the case of a pocket-book, photographs in the case of<br />
photograph book, and card plates in the case of visiting cards.<br />
123.Prohibitions. – (a) No communication of the nature of a letter or having the character<br />
of a personal communication may be enclosed in or written upon a book packet except to the<br />
extent specified in clause 120.<br />
(b) No card bearing the heading “<strong>Post</strong>card” shall be transmitted open as a book packet.<br />
(c) A book packet shall not contain “Paper-money” which for the purposes of this clause<br />
includes unobliterated postage or other stamps, currency notes, bundles, cheques bank-notes, bankpost<br />
bills, bills of exchange, and all orders of authorities for the payment of money; provided that a<br />
book packet may contain one stamped and addressed envelope postcard or wrapper bearing the<br />
name and address of the sender of the packet, or some other person named thereon.<br />
124. Size. – (1) The dimensions of a book-packet shall be subject to the following<br />
maximum and minimum limits :-<br />
(i) Maximum -<br />
