Contents. A valuable source <strong>of</strong> information concerning the arming, training<br />

<strong>and</strong> exercising <strong>of</strong> both cavalry <strong>and</strong> infantry. In the former branch,<br />

cuirassiers, mounted harquebusiers, <strong>and</strong> dragoons had now s<strong>up</strong>erseded menat-arms<br />

<strong>and</strong> lancers ;<br />
