Description of the measurement procedure:<br />
The dial gauge with integrated magnet is to be positioned between the upper and lower<br />
carriage in axle direction near the raceway and close to a bolted area (see fig. per no. and 1). lower<br />
Set the dial gauge to zero.<br />

Raise the upper carriage by means of fork-lift (see fig. no. 2) or lever jack (see<br />
fig. no. 3) until the lower carriage is pending freely.<br />

Read the value of the dial gauge<br />
The dial gauge is to be positioned on the opposite side and the a.m. procedure has to be<br />
repeated.<br />
