introduction Battery details Installing or changing batteries in the Striker The Striker requires 4 x “AA” size batteries (not included). Your Striker will tell you when it’s time to change batteries. When it detects critically low power during gameplay, it will play a sound, flash white and power down. Replace the batteries and toggle the ON/OFF switch before using again. To install or change the batteries: 1. Open the battery compartment using a Phillips screwdriver (not included) to remove the screws on the battery compartment cover. 2. Insert the batteries according to the diagram. Ensure that the positive and negative polarities match the illustrations inside the battery compartment. 3. Replace the battery compartment cover and replace the screws using the screwdriver. Do not over-tighten. GETTING STARTED Important battery information • Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type. • Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries [standard (Carbon- zinc), Alkaline or rechargeable] or rechargeable batteries of different capacities. • Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before recharging them. • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. • Respect the correct polarity, (+) and (-). • Do not try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. • Do not dispose batteries in a fire. • Replace all batteries of the same type/brand at the same time. • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. • Remove exhausted batteries from the toy. • Batteries should be replaced by adults. • Remove batteries if the toy is not going to be played with for some time. EN Powering up Move the Striker’s Power switch to the ON position to start blasting. Standby mode If you do not blast anything for about 10 minutes, the Striker will go into Standby mode. It will wake up if blasted by another Striker or an Assault Striker or if one of its buttons is pressed. After about 20 minutes without activity, the Striker will further power down and will not register blasts from other Light Strike weapons. It will wake up if one of its buttons is pressed. Note: Playing in direct sunlight or other bright conditions may decrease the range of your Striker’s blasts. 7

Powering up<br />

Move the Striker’s Power switch to the ON position to start blasting.<br />
