I want to teach Kindergarten, so some assignments my students could do with collages are letter and<br />

word association: they could go through magazines or pick from a group of pictures I give them to find<br />

items that begin with the letter A, B, C, and so on or they could make a collage of words that rhyme with<br />

each other. It also might be useful to the students if I made a collage with the whole class of each month<br />

and include on it pictures of the students with birthdays in each month and the holidays that fall in each<br />

month. With younger students, I think a collage assignment would be more about pictures and<br />

associations than trying to explain an idea.<br />
