Primary raw materials<br />

In 2012, primary raw materials used in the production of electricity included coal (53%),<br />

water potential (45%), and natural gas and extra light heating oil (2%).<br />

Purchase price<br />

In 2012, the purchase price of electricity was mostly affected by the following factors:<br />

• 8% higher than planned electricity production at HPPs;<br />

• 2.7% lower than planned electricity production from TEŠ coal;<br />

• 100% of realised electricity production from TEŠ gas;<br />

• 94.8% realisation of planned electricity production at TET;<br />

• conditions in the electricity market.<br />

Coal<br />

41,799 TJ of coal was used for purposes of electricity production at TEŠ. At TET, 6,957 TJ of<br />

coal was used for production of electricity.<br />

Coal stocks<br />

As at 31 December 2012, PV’s and TET coal stocks amounted to 4,278 TJ and 1,337 TJ,<br />

respectively.<br />
