– <strong>Knorr</strong>-<strong>Bremse</strong>’s New<br />

Corporate Values<br />

In <strong>2012</strong> <strong>Knorr</strong>-<strong>Bremse</strong> introduced new corporate values.<br />

The redefined values stand for the qualities that set <strong>Knorr</strong>-<strong>Bremse</strong> apart<br />

– for its strengths, for fair play both inside and outside the Group and for a<br />

willingness to acknowledge and remedy mistakes. They are intended to<br />

provide a frame of reference for all our employees around the world in<br />

their daily actions and decisions. Furthermore, they are designed to shape<br />

our business practices and set standards for our behavior towards one<br />

another.<br />

Entrepreneurship, Technical Excellence, maximum Reliability, individual<br />

Passion and Responsibility – these are the values that define us as<br />

<strong>Knorr</strong>-<strong>Bremse</strong>.<br />

In what follows, Julia Thiele-Schürhoff, who was responsible for the<br />

Values project and heads up the Corporate Responsibility function, and<br />

Dr. Marc Pastowsky, head of Corporate Human Resources at <strong>Knorr</strong>-<strong>Bremse</strong>,<br />

discuss the new corporate values in a personal interview.
