5. Local Application <strong>of</strong> Murakhkhi and Muhallil drugs<br />

Many <strong>of</strong> Unani physicians emphasized <strong>the</strong> application<br />

<strong>of</strong> Murakhkhi and Muhallil drugs locally over <strong>the</strong> lesions<br />

frequently ei<strong>the</strong>r in <strong>the</strong> <strong>for</strong>m <strong>of</strong> ointment or oil <strong>for</strong> early<br />

healing. For this purpose following drugs may be used.<br />

a) Roghane Gul (Oil <strong>of</strong> Rosa damascene)<br />

b) Roghane Kamela (Oil <strong>of</strong> Mallotus philippinensis)<br />

c) Roghane Kunjad (Oil <strong>of</strong> Sesamum indicum)<br />

d) Roghane Zaitoon (Oil <strong>of</strong> Olea europea)<br />

e) Sufo<strong>of</strong>e Qooba (ingredients: Phitkiri birya, Suhaga<br />

birya)<br />

f) Sufo<strong>of</strong>e Hikka (ingredients: Barge Hina, Maghze<br />

Badam talkh, Kamela, Khashkhash, Gule Surkh,<br />

Nar mushk, Sange jarahat)<br />

g) Sufo<strong>of</strong>e Bars (ingredients: Babchi, Mundi ,Sarphoka,<br />

Halaila siyah, Barge hina, Barge Neem)<br />

h) Sufo<strong>of</strong>e Zimad (ingredients: Suhaga biryan)<br />

i) Marhame sada (ingredients: Bees wax ,Coconut oil,<br />

Suhaga biryan)<br />

Moreover, <strong>the</strong>y stressed to avoid food like sour, sweet,<br />

reddish in <strong>the</strong> diet <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> patient.<br />

CONCLUSION<br />

The clinical study on Narfarsi (Eczema) and review <strong>of</strong><br />

literature presented in this dissertation provide certain im-<br />

portant and fruitful in<strong>for</strong>mation regarding <strong>the</strong> usefulness<br />

<strong>of</strong> Unani <strong>for</strong>mulation in <strong>the</strong> management <strong>of</strong> Narfarsi.<br />
