Diagnosis <strong>of</strong> جازمMizaj - a Unique Tool <strong>for</strong> Treatment<br />

in Unani <strong>Medicine</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> proper dosage <strong>for</strong> its cure. Thus, if <strong>the</strong> affected organ<br />

is primarily <strong>of</strong> cold temperament but <strong>the</strong> disease is hot, it<br />

is a sign <strong>of</strong> gross abnormality necessitating strong cooling<br />

doses. When however <strong>the</strong> original temperament is hot<br />

and <strong>the</strong> disease is also <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> same quality mild cooling<br />

doses will suffice. 8<br />

Conclusion<br />

Mizaj جازم <strong>of</strong> a person and <strong>the</strong>ir tendencies to develop<br />

particular diseases may be a better and latest tool to tackle<br />

<strong>the</strong> various diseases prior to <strong>the</strong>ir onset hence to reduce <strong>the</strong><br />

ever increasing mental and economical loads on medical<br />

fraternity and <strong>the</strong> health care system respectively.Proper<br />

and correct diagnosis <strong>of</strong> Mizaj جازم <strong>of</strong> disease and correct<br />

selection <strong>of</strong> medicines which may lead to rational approach<br />

in <strong>the</strong> treatment <strong>of</strong> diseases and maintenance <strong>of</strong> health too,<br />

with least damage to human body.<br />
