Tubes & Containers APPLETON WOODS Polystyrene Sample Containers Sterilin A range of containers aseptically manufactured from FDA approved polystyrene, ideal for sample collection and storage, and giving excellent sample visibility Sizes from 7ml to 250ml Three labelling options - no label, printed label (for patient details) or plain label Choice of metal or plastic screw caps, all of which are leak proof tested to BS5213 (see information panel below) Flow seal caps ensure excellent sample containment, and are unique on the 30ml ‘Universal’ container Double bagged containers and non-pyrogenic containers now available Sterilin Quality Leak Proof Cap Containers can be used to contain both valuable and hazardous samples so it is imperative that these products do not leak. Sterilin containers are routinely leak tested in accordance with EN14254 Annexe D and BS5213. Double Bagged Double bagged containers are ideal for use in hospital theatres and other sterile environments. Each container is supplied double wrapped and irradiated An irradiation dot is affixed to each inner bag confirming complete sterility Both bags have tear open lines Containers, Non-Pyrogenic Non-pyrogenic containers are certified endotoxin free to levels below 0.01EU/ml (Limulus Amoebocyte Lysate (LAL) test). The test procedure is validated in accordance with the EU, USP and USFDA guidelines where the principle aim is to demonstrate that the product or the sample does not inhibit or enhance the LAL reaction.
