Polystyrene Sample Containers<br />
Sterilin<br />
A range of containers aseptically manufactured from FDA approved<br />
polystyrene, ideal for sample collection and storage, and giving<br />
excellent sample visibility<br />
Sizes from 7ml to 250ml<br />
Three labelling options - no label, printed label (for patient details)<br />
or plain label<br />
Choice of metal or plastic screw caps, all of which are leak proof<br />
tested to BS5213 (see information panel below)<br />
Flow seal caps ensure excellent sample containment, and are unique<br />
on the 30ml ‘Universal’ container<br />
Double bagged containers and non-pyrogenic containers now<br />
available<br />
Sterilin Quality<br />
Leak Proof Cap<br />
Containers can be used to contain both valuable and<br />
hazardous samples so it is imperative that these products do<br />
not leak. Sterilin containers are routinely leak tested in<br />
accordance with EN14254 Annexe D and BS5213.<br />
Double Bagged<br />
Double bagged containers are ideal for use in hospital theatres<br />
and other sterile environments.<br />
Each container is supplied double wrapped and irradiated<br />
An irradiation dot is affixed to each inner bag confirming<br />
complete sterility<br />
Both bags have tear open lines<br />
Containers, Non-Pyrogenic<br />
Non-pyrogenic containers are certified endotoxin free to levels<br />
below 0.01EU/ml (Limulus Amoebocyte Lysate (LAL) test).<br />
The test procedure is validated in accordance with the EU, USP<br />
and USFDA guidelines where the principle aim is to<br />
demonstrate that the product or the sample does not inhibit or<br />
enhance the LAL reaction.<br />
