Contained in a compact wall-mounted casing,
the TR 420 turnstile is designed for areas
where efficient access control is required but
space is limited, for example in corridors. Its
wall mounting eliminates any need for floor
fixing and consequently reduces the cost of
installation. This turnstile is designed to be
remote-controlled from an attendant's booth
or reception desk.
Optional floor-fixing tubular legs are available,
for example to form a battery of several
turnstiles.

Description
1. Painted steel frame, (standard color: hammered bordeaux
wine red, RAL3005 equivalent. Other colors available as
options).
2.Upper cover in stainless steel with lock, giving access to
tripod mechanism.
3. Tripod turnstile mechanism with solid steel arms and
capstan on ball bearings, cataphoresis protected,
black PVC hub cover.
Electromagnetically operating locking bolts mounted on self
lubricating bearings to lock arms.
Hydraulic adjustable pressure movement shock absorbers
which ensure silent smooth operation and progressive
slowing down of the turnstiles.
4.Stainless steel arms with locking device rendering it
impossible to remove arm without the appropriate tools.

Operation
The TR 420 turnstile can operate in 5 different modes per
direction:
1. Access permanently free.
2. Access permanently mechanically locked.
3.Access mechanically locked with automatic unlocking of the
tripod in the event of a power failure.
4.Access electrically controlled.
5.Access electrically controlled with automatic unlocking in the
event of a power failure.
The specification of a TR 420 turnstile should be specified
when the order is placed according to the selected mode of
operation.
Sample specifications:
1. Turnstile permanently free in direction A and electrically
controlled in direction B with automatic unlocking:
this is a TR420 A1-B5 type turnstile.
2. Turnstile permanently mechanically locked in direction A and
electrically controlled in direction B:
this is a TR420 A2-B4 type turnstile.

Surface treatment
Anti-corrosion protection of internal mechanical parts by
yellow bichromate electrogalvanizing.
Painting by application of a coat of powder paint.
