A Systemic Approach to Seek, Test, and Treat Strategies for Correctional Populations
This project tests a high-risk population in a state correctional facility for HIV infection; (2) (re)-links
HIV-positive people being released from this facility to the Milwaukee metropolitan region into low- or
no-cost treatment and case management services; and (3) seeks to evaluate an innovative network method
of HIV testing referral to utilize high-risk negatives in the correctional system to, upon release, encourage
other high-risk individuals in their social-sexual networks who might not otherwise access testing services
to get HIV tested.

A community-based, behavioral intervention to improve screening for hepatitis C among high-risk young
adults in Wisconsin
This is a pilot, randomized intervention trial of a computerized behavioral intervention designed to
increase uptake of community-based rapid antibody screening for hepatitis C virus (HCV) and decrease
transmission risk behaviors among people who inject drugs (PWID) in Wisconsin.
