Çivi’nin konuşmasının ardından öğrencilerin Koza Projesi’nde
edindikleri deneyimler ve tecrübeler hakkında görüşleri alındı.
Koza benim için büyük şanstı
Karadeniz Teknik Üniversitesi Makina Mühendisliği
Bölümü’nde okuyan Şafak Yalçındağ, YASED Koza Projesi
hakkındaki düşüncelerini şu şekilde paylaştı: “Kendi kariyer
yolumuzun mimarı olarak, başarılı bir meslek hayatının güçlü
temellerini atmak adına, okuduğumuz ve doğduğumuz yer
açısından sahip olduğumuz dezavantajları fırsata çeviren
Koza Projesi sayesinde edindiğim tecrübeyle güçlü bir temel
için ilk adımı attığımı düşünüyorum.
Staj yaptığım şirkette yaklaşık 110 kadar daha stajyer stajına
benimle başladı. Sahip olduğum teorik ve pratik bilgi birçoğuna
kıyasla çok daha iyi, buna rağmen özgüven noktasında
birçoğunun bizden daha iyi aşılanmış olduğunu gözlemledim.
Kendi adıma bu problemi bulmak ve çözmek için bu proje büyük
bir fırsat oldu. Şirketteki staj süresince alabileceğim en iyi
eğitimi alabilmem için yönlendirildim. Şirketteki herkesin sorduğu
bir soru vardı. Kimin referansıyla staja kabul edilmiştim.
Buradaki tüm stajyerler referanslarıyla staja kabul edilmişlerdi.
Bu bağlamda böyle bir imkanın sağlanmış olması benim
için büyük şanstı.”

After explaining how the students who completed their internships
had an opportunity to get to know what they would encounter
in their future professional lives, meeting different people and
working in different departments, Çivi said, "Thanks to your
internships many of you have decided how you will develop your
future, realized the importance of a disciplined working life, and
grasped that learning a foreign language is indispensable."
Touching on the group set up on social networking site Facebook
as part of the Koza Project and how it has helped students to keep
in touch, Çivi pointed out that those who have met through their
internships will be able to support one another in the future.
After the speech by Çivi students were asked about what they
had experienced and learnt through Koza Project.
Koza was a great opportunity
Şafak Yalçındağ, a student at the Karadeniz Technical
University Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, "As the architect
of my own career path, I feel I have taken the first step toward
laying a strong foundation with the experience gained through
the Koza Project, which turned the disadvantages of the place
where I was born and schooled into advantages to lay strong
foundations for a successful professional life.
At the company where I did my internship around 110 other
interns started along with me. My theoretical and practical
knowledge was very good compared with many of them, yet
I observed that some were instilled with more self-confidence
than me. Personally I can say that this project was a great
opportunity to find that problem and solve it. Throughout the
internship at the company I was directed to receive the best
training. There was a question everybody in the company
asked: Whose reference had got me accepted as an intern
All the interns there had got in with a reference. For such an
opportunity to be offered to me in this context was a great
opportunity."
Hayatımın 30 altın gününü İstanbul'da geçirdim
I spent the 30 golden days of my life in Istanbul
Fırat Üniversitesi’nde Kimya Bölümünü bitiren ve projeye
Elazığ’dan katılan Ali Kurtul, Koza Projesi ile ilgili şunları söyledi:
“23 yaşındayım. YASED’in projesini şans eseri internette
gördüm. Hemen formu doldurdum ve birkaç hafta sonra mülakat
daveti geldi. Bir kere rüya şehir İstanbul’a gitmek ve orada
sınırsızca gezmek hayatımda hiçbir zaman mümkün olmamıştı.
İstanbul’da görmediğim yer kalmadı gibi bir şey. Katıldığımız
seminerlere Türkiye’nin hatrı sayılır eğitmenleri geldi.
Örnek gösterilen işadamları arasında benim idolüm hayata
sıfırdan başlamış, yokluğu görmüş, ancak şimdi restoranları
olan ve hazır dondurulmuş gıda devi bir şirketin Yönetim Kurulu
Başkanı ve Sahan Restoranları’nın sahibi Tahir Tekin Özkan
olmuştu. Hayatıma anı olacak 30 altın gün oldu benim için…”
İşin bizi seçtiği değil, bizim işi seçtiğimiz bir gelecek…
KTÜ İşletme Bölümü 4. sınıf öğrencisi Özgür Öztürk, Koza
Projesi kapsamında YASED stajyeri olarak stajını tamamladı.
Staj hakkında düşüncelerini bizlerle paylaşan Özgür: “Bizlere
yaz döneminde belki de çoğumuzun ulaşılması güç diye nitelendirdiği
firmalarda staj yapma ve İstanbul’a gelme olanağı
veren YASED ailesine sizlerin ve kendim adına teşekkürü bir
borç bilirim. İstanbul, kimimiz için bilinmeyen bir denklem,
kimimiz için içinden çıkılamaz karmaşık bir yapı, kimimiz için
de korkutucuydu. Buna rağmen acısıyla tatlısıyla yaklaşık 1 ay
gibi bir süre hem profesyonel iş hayatının içerisinde bulunduk
hem de yeni insanlar tanıma fırsatı bulduk. Eminim ki bu
yaz dönemi ileriki iş hayatımızda hep bir artı olarak aklımızda
bulunacaktır. Sonuç olarak hepimiz seçilmiş birer öğrenci
olarak bu projeye dahil olduk ve alnımızın akıyla sonuna kadar
gelmeyi başarabildik. Her birimiz kendimizi rakiplerimize
göre bir adım daha önde görmeliyiz. "
Ali Kurtul, graduate of the Fırat University Department of
Chemistry and participating the project from Elazığ, said: "I am
23 years old. I happened to come across the YASED project on
the Internet. I immediately filled in the form and after a few weeks
I was invited to an interview. I had never had the opportunity
to just come to the dream city of Istanbul and tour it freely.
There's virtually nowhere in Istanbul I haven't seen. Turkey's
notable trainers came to the seminars we attended. One of the
businessmen presented as an example, my idol, had started
life with nothing, experienced poverty, but is now the CEO of
a company with restaurants and a ready-frozen ice-cream food
giant, and the owner of Sahan Restaurants, Tahir Tekin Özkan.
They were 30 golden days of memories for my life..."
A future where we choose the job, instead of the job choosing us...
Fourth year student at the Karadeniz Technical University
Faculty of Business Administration Özgür Öztürk completed his
internship as a YASED intern with the Koza Project. Sharing his
thoughts on the internship with us, Özgür said, "On behalf of
you and myself, I would like to express my debt of gratitude
to the YASED family for enabling us to become interns for
the summer period at companies that most of us would have
thought were inaccessible. "For some Istanbul was an unknown
equation, for some unfathomably complicated, and for some
frightening. Despite this, for about a month of ups and downs
we experienced professional working live as well as meeting
new people. I'm sure that this summer period will always stick
in my mind as a plus in my working life. "As a result each one
of us, students who were selected were included in the project
and have made it to the end by the sweat of our brow. Every one
of us should see ourselves as a step ahead of our competitors."
