Şirketler “değişim” politikaları sayesinde başarıyı
yakalıyor
Panelin diğer konuşması arasında yer alan IBM CFO’su Selim
Taşo ise sunumunda BİT Raporu’nun çok etkileyici bir kaynak olduğunu,
mobil iletişimin en uzak köşeye kadar ulaştığını söyledi.
Taşo, IBM’de yeni pazarlar, yeni olanaklar ve hem geliştirilen
hem de satın alınan yeni ürünlerle gelir artışının sağlanması için
dünyanın her bölgesine ulaşarak, ürünlerin tüketilmesini sağladıklarına
değindi. Farkındalık yaratabilen ve kendilerini diğer
şirketlerden ayırt eden şirketlerin finans departmanlarının “değer
katıcı ve değerleri entegre edebilen” organizasyon yapısına
sahip olduğunu ifade eden Selim Taşo, bu şirketlerin çoğunun
başarıyı izledikleri “değişim” politikaları sayesinde yakalayabildiğini
vurguladı.
Kültür iş disiplinini etkiliyor
Samsung Türkiye HHP Grup Direktörü Selçuk Mirza ise, ülke kültürünün
ve iş disiplinin önemine dikkat çekti. Kore’nin bugün
geldiği noktada bu kültürün etkisi olduğunu, 1970’den sonra ülkeleri
için çok iyi anlaşmalar yaptığını ve ülkenin kalkınması için
özveri ile çalıştıklarını belirtti. Ayrıca, ülkenin en zor günlerinde
kaynak ve potansiyelleri çok iyi değerlendirdiğini dile getirdi.
Success of a company hinges on its “change” policy
IBM CFO Selim Taşo, another speaker of the Panel, said ICT Report
was a very impressive source with implications even to the remotest
areas of the the mobile communication. Taşo said that, at IBM, they
reached all parts of the world in offering their products in order to
secure revenue increases in new markets, too, with the help of the
new capabilities provided by the new products developed or sold.
Selim Taşo said that finance departments of companies that can
create awareness and differentiate themselves from other companies
have an organizational structure that can “add value and integrate
the values”, underlining that these companies reached success
thanks to their successful “change” policies.
Culture affects work discipline
Samsung Turkey HHP Group Director Selçuk Mirza stressed the
importance of the culture of the country and prevailing perception of
the work discipline in this country. He showed Korea as an example
of this, saying that Korea’s present point was greatly helped by its
culture while Koreans made very successful agreements after 1970
and they worked with devotion for the development of their country.
He also said that Korea used the existing resources and potentials
very well even at the most difficult times.
Türkiye’de mobil iletişim sektörü 55 bin kişiyi
istihdam ediyor
Panelde mobil iletişim sektörünü değerlendiren GSMA Düzenleyici
Politikalar Birimi Direktörü Adam Denton, sektörün Türk
ekonomisine 28,8 milyar TL katkıda bulunduğunu, 55 bin kişiye
dolaylı, 150 bin kişiye ise doğrudan olarak istihdam sağladığına
dikkat çekti. Türkiye’de daha optimal vergilendirme rejimi kabul
edildiği takdirde sektörün, ülkeye ekonomik katkısının daha
fazla olacağını belirten Denton, mobil iletişim vergilerinde diğer
sektörlere göre ayrımcılık yapıldığını vurguladı.
Turkey’s mobile communication industry employs 55 thousand
people
Speaking in the panel, GSMA Head of Regulatory Policy Adam Denton
provided an assessment of the Turkish mobile communication industry,
saying that the industry contributed TL 28.8 billion to the Turkish
economy, employing 55 thousand people directly, and 150 thousand
people indirectly. Denton said that the industry’s contribution to
the Turkish economy would be a lot more if the country adopts a
more optimal taxation regime, pointing out that the present mobile
communication taxes posed a discrimination against the ITC industry.
Avrupa Birliği çerçevesinde, hiçbir AB ülkesinin benzer bir ücret
uygulaması gerçekleştirmediğini, operatörlerin pazarda rekabet
edebilmesi için vergi azaltılması gerektiğini aktaran Denton, hükümet
adına operatörleri tarafından tüketicilerin toplanan vergilerin
şeffaf olmadığını söyledi. Hükümetin acilen vergi sistemini
gözden geçirmeli ve vergi yapısı değiştirmeli, diyen Denton, tüketiciler
üzerindeki vergi yükünün azaltılması gerektiğini, aksi
takdirde, bunun hükümet ve tüketiciler için iyi olmayacağını ifade
etti.
There was no example of this price policy among the European
Union countries and tax reductions are needed for the operators to
compete in the market, Denton said, adding that the tax collection
by the operators from the consumers in the name of the government
is by no means transparent. Denton asserted that the government
should urgently review its tax system and change the current tax
structure to reduce the tax burden on the consumers adding that
otherwise it will not be for the good of the government and the
consumers.
