Recumbent Bicycle Tours of the<br />

Rio Grande Bosque and Historic<br />

Rio Grande River<br />

While <strong>in</strong> Albuquerque, <strong>New</strong> <strong>Mexico</strong>, enjoy a<br />

few hours rid<strong>in</strong>g recumbent bicycles <strong>in</strong> the<br />

magnificent cottonwood forest along the Rio<br />

Grande River. Delight <strong>in</strong> a scrumptious picnic<br />

lunch of freshly made sandwiches and pastries.<br />

Listen to the river flow and watch turtles as they<br />

bask <strong>in</strong> the brilliant <strong>New</strong> <strong>Mexico</strong> sunlight. Our<br />

knowledgeable tour guide will take you away<br />

from it all and br<strong>in</strong>g you a place of serenity,<br />

wonder and simple pleasures: The Rio Grande<br />

Bosque.<br />

On Every Tour:<br />

1. You will be given a recumbent bicycle rid<strong>in</strong>g<br />

lesson and be outfitted with a recumbent bicycle<br />

sized right for you.<br />

2. You will be given a well fitt<strong>in</strong>g helmet with a<br />

Sheik Flap and a water bottle filled with cool<br />

spr<strong>in</strong>g water.<br />

3. You may choose either a 9-mile (approx. 2<br />

hours) or a 20-mile (approx. 3 hours) ride on a<br />

fully paved path.<br />

4. You will have a nature lov<strong>in</strong>g tour guide who<br />

is also a skilled mechanic. He will be equipped<br />

with spare tubes, a pump, tools and a first aid<br />

kit.<br />

5. You will see the wonders of the Rio Grande<br />

Bosque which may <strong>in</strong>clude: The Rio Grande<br />

River ducks, geese, roadrunners, hawks,<br />

humm<strong>in</strong>gbirds, turtles, lizards a beaver's lunch,<br />

gopher mounds and native plants<br />

6. You will visit the Rio Grande Nature Center<br />

which offers nature exhibits and a pond<br />

observation room.<br />

7. You will be served a delicious picnic lunch<br />

prepared by Roll<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> Dough Bakery.<br />

8. You will have a Glorious Time!<br />
