BAI’s Javelin UAV System pilotless aircraft is a
new way to provide live aerial video for the news
media, law enforcement agencies, and
researchers at a fraction of the cost of blimps,
helicopters, or other manned aircraft. Javelin is
flown by a pilot from the ground control station,
where a camera operator directs the electronically-stabilized
color TV camera to areas of
interest. The 24:1 zoom ratio camera has a
standard NTSC format, and also is available in
PAL format. The Javelin system is affordable,
quickly assembled, and can be easily operated
by your crew with only minimal training, or by a
qualified BAI flight team. Short and long term

Javelin’s ground control station features separate controls and
monitors for the pilot and camera operator. Output jacks for
recorders or re-transmission equipment help integrate Javelin
into the rest of your broadcast system. All components are packed
in a rugged shipping container, and assemble in minutes. Javelin
