<strong>Job</strong> Summary:<br />
This position will provide optimal customer service to all visitors to the Invoicing Office. This<br />
position encourages distribution of product information through emails, flat screen display and<br />
partner agency website. This position primarily prepares and reviews orders for pulling by<br />
Operations personnel. This position assists partner agencies, especially, in making the best use of<br />
available product in all categories for their programs. In addition, the Customer Service<br />
Coordinator will coordinate closely with Accounting, <strong>Food</strong> Resources and Operations to ensure<br />
an accurate inventory.<br />
Major Responsibilities/Activities:<br />
1. Interacts with representatives of partner agencies in a courteous and polite manner. Duties<br />
include monitoring partner agency restrictions and enforcing the food bank's shopping<br />
policies and procedures.<br />
2. Facilitates Shopping 101 sessions for new shoppers of partner agencies; ensures shoppers<br />
lists for all partner agencies are current.<br />
3. Updates partner agency contact information in Primarius and Raiser’s Edge.<br />

5. Conducts daily audit of confirmed invoices.<br />
6. Maintains a clean and hospitable partner agency lounge: ensures coffee is available for<br />
visitors and samples of promotional food items are provided on a regular basis.<br />
7. Coordinates displays of information with Programs staff.<br />
8. Ensures that all invoices are signed and the correct form of payment is remitted; completes<br />
an accurate day-end reconciliation of all accounts including confirming all applicable<br />
invoices.<br />
9. Provides additional assistance when necessary and reports issues to be addressed to all<br />
applicable food bank departments including <strong>Food</strong> Resources, Partner Relations and<br />
Operations.<br />
10. Monitors and reports discrepancies as they arise from the invoicing procedure.<br />
11. Coordinates and maintains delivery and distribution schedules.<br />
12. Provides training to volunteers as required.<br />
13. Provides support to Partner Relations staff especially in support of Metropolitan <strong>Area</strong> Hunger<br />
Conference and Northern Virginia Hunger Summit.<br />
14. Other duties as assigned.<br />
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:<br />
Exhibits excellent communications skills, both verbal and written in addition to excellent<br />
listening skills<br />

Exhibits strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks<br />
Demonstrates experience working in a dynamic, productive team environment<br />
Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office software to include: Word, Excel,<br />
PowerPoint and Outlook programs.<br />
Possesses the ability to work professionally with a diverse constituent base.<br />
Presents a professional appearance and demeanor<br />
Demonstrates commitment to the mission of the CAFB<br />
Spanish language skills desired<br />
Essential Physical Functions:<br />
Physical activities involve sitting for 80% of the work day.<br />
Occasionally lifts office supplies up to 20 pounds.<br />
Work Environment:<br />
Normal business office, with frequent tight deadlines<br />
Monday – Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm weekly; occasional Saturday and evening<br />
hours.<br />
