Flexible Programming<br />
Flexible programming is provided by means of Mint <strong>and</strong> the Mint<br />
WorkBench. Fully compatible with <strong>Baldor</strong>'s NextMove range of<br />
multi-axis motion controllers, Mint provides unrivalled flexibility<br />
<strong>and</strong> ease of use. Full access is provided to the onboard I/O <strong>for</strong><br />
complete PLC tasks. I/O is easily exp<strong>and</strong>ed by means of the<br />
optional CAN+I/O board.<br />
CANopen Master <strong>for</strong> Flexible Networking<br />
MintDrive-II is available with a CANopen option providing a<br />
flexible networking solution. Acting as a network manager, the<br />
MintDrive-II can operate any third party digital I/O con<strong>for</strong>ming<br />
to the CAN in Automation (CiA) DS401 I/O profile. In addition,<br />
multiple MintDrive-II's <strong>and</strong> other Mint controllers such as<br />
NextMove <strong>and</strong> Flex+Drive-II can be linked on the same CANopen<br />
network. Data can be passed between Mint applications running<br />
on each node. This makes it easy to develop distributed control<br />
systems.<br />
High Speed Position Latching<br />
MintDrive-II's ability to capture position in real-time makes it<br />
ideal <strong>for</strong> applications such as labeling, cutting on the fly <strong>and</strong><br />
positioning on the fly, where the exact position of a product is<br />
required.
