AMT Assurances
APRIL GROUP DOMMAGES PARTICULIERS (Retail Property
and Casualty) acquired a 75% stake in AMT Assurances, a
wholesale broker specialized in designing, managing and
distributing motorcycle insurance policies.
Axeria Vie
AXERIA Vie (Life and Savings) was accredited by the French
Insurance regulator (Comité des Entreprises d’Assurance)
on January 17 th , 2007. This company, fully-owned by
APRIL GROUP VIE ÉPARGNE, accompanies APRIL GROUP’s
development of its life insurance activities.
ISR Courtage
ISR Courtage, a dedicated brokerage structure for distributing
socially responsible investments online, began trading in 2007.
Febs (now APRIL Financial Services AG)
APRIL GROUP PRÉVOYANCE INDIVIDUELLE (Individual Personal
Protection) bought out the 10% stake held by minority
shareholders in APRIL Financial Services AG on February
19 th , 2007, taking its interest in this company’s capital up
to 84%.
APRIL Germany
APRIL GROUP PRÉVOYANCE INDIVIDUELLE (Individual Personal
Protection) bought out the 20% stake held by minority
shareholders in APRIL Germany on May 16 th , 2007, taking its
interest in this company’s capital up to 100%.
APRIL North America
APRIL GROUP, through its specially created subsidiary APRIL
NORTH AMERICA, acquired the Canadian brokerage firms Dave
Rochon Assurances Inc., on June 8 th , 2007, and ESCAPADE
Assurances Voyages, on June 11 th , 2007. ESCAPADE
Assurances Voyages, based in Sainte Croix, is specialized in
travel insurance products for retail customers. Dave Rochon
Assurances Inc., based in Montreal, is a wholesale broker
specialized in heightened risks on retail and corporate
property and casualty insurance.
ASSURDOM Gestion
APRIL GROUP PRÉVOYANCE INDIVIDUELLE (Individual Personal
Protection) acquired a 38.2% stake in the Reunion-based
ASSURDOM Gestion on June 22 nd , 2007. ASSURDOM Gestion
is a wholesale broker specializing in property and casualty risks,
primarily for retail customers
Assinco
APRIL GROUP CORPORATE acquired an 80% stake in Assinco on
November 7 th , 2007. Assinco is an insurance brokerage firm,
operating directly or through its 16 subsidiaries, on personal
insurance, property and casualty insurance for goods and
credit insurance, for businesses and individuals on mainland
France and in French overseas departments and territories.
APRIL Cover
APRIL Cover, set up in 2006, began trading in 2007. This
company provides small and medium-sized businesses with
access to the entire range of tools required for managing
their customer positions in order to prevent and manage
non-payment risks: prevention, compensation, collection
management, optimization of financing.
Solidaris
Since 2007, Solidaris, previously APRIL Partenariats, has
been developing non-discriminating insurance solutions and
services for legal protection, supplementary health and loan
insurance for the homosexual community.
APRIL Réunion
APRIL Réunion, previously APRIL Distribution, began trading
in 2007 on Reunion. The company is focused primarily on
individual personal protection and health.
APRIL CEE Development
In 2007, APRIL GROUP created APRIL CEE Development, a
Budapest-based brokerage company, in order to develop its
business in Hungary.
APRIL Mediterranean Ltd and Axeria Re Ltd
Through its subsidiary APRIL Mediterranean Ltd (regional
holding company), APRIL GROUP created Axeria Re Ltd on
December 28 th , 2007. Axeria Re Ltd is a reinsurance company
based in Malta.
APRIL Santé
In 2007, APRIL GROUP launched the business for APRIL Santé,
with a network of points of sale and spaces for advice on
family health insurance.
APRIL Corporate Broking
Previously APRIL International, it launched its activity to
design, integrate and manage P&C insurance solutions
for businesses, offered through a network of brokers and
insurance agents.
