Pneumatic Handheld and<br />
Conta-Clip's Pneumatic <strong>Ferrule</strong> Crimpers are used<br />
to mechanically crimp insulated and uninsulated<br />
ferrules onto wires and cables. When crimping<br />
volume is high, they provide a cost effective<br />
alternative to hand crimping while eliminating<br />
the possibility of carpal tunnel syndrome.<br />
Conta-Clip's Pneumatic Crimpers are supplied<br />
fully assembled and ready for immediate hookup<br />
to a compressed air supply and use. Just install<br />
a ferrule over a stripped wire and insert it into<br />
the appropriate crimp cavity opening. To start<br />
the crimping cycle, press the actuating lever on<br />
the handheld unit or the footswitch pedal on the<br />
tabletop unit. Upon release of the actuating lever<br />
or the footswitch pedal, the crimping cycle is<br />
completed automatically opening the tool and<br />
allowing for removal of the crimped ferrule.<br />
All Pneumatic Crimpers produce a trapezoidal<br />
crimp cross section ensuring an optimum<br />
mechanical and electrical connection between<br />
the ferrule and the conductor.<br />
