This paper presents an overview of research findings, legislation, policy and programme
responses to prevent and respond to sexual abuse and exploitation of boys in South Asia. It
represents a contribution to UNICEF IRCs research on the implementation of international
standards and supplements previous IRC research on child trafficking in South Asia.
