It’s easy to recognise the fanatical K 1200 RS or GT rider
even years later: hunched over and plagued with back
problems. The basic concept of the original handlebar is
sound, but it needs to be raised to liberate the rider from
his hunched-over posture. In order to allow you to adapt
the handlebar to your body size we have built a simple
and easy-to-operate adjustment option (as in the original
RS) into the risers. The relaxed, ergonomically ideal
posture has the added benefit of noticeably improved
control of the bike. The individual handlebar halves can
be raised in three stages between 30 and 42 mm (RS) or
27 and 31 mm (GT) and simultaneously brought closer
to the rider by 20 to 27 mm (RS) or 20 to 37 mm (GT).
A swashbuckling conversion that ensures pain-free riding
pleasure. Long-distance comfort is now comparable
with that of touring bikes. Elaborate construction made
of a strong aluminium alloy that has until now been the
preserve of aeronautical engineering. Anodised and
given that extra touch of class by a matching K logo.

For many RS/GT riders, even short-distance rides can
be a torment: Their legs are too bent, and the material
of their trousers gets pinched in the crook of the knee,
blood flow is impaired, and pain is the inevitable result.
The facts:
• Significantly more relaxed sitting position.
• Ergonomically perfect knee angle with better operability of the
foot levers.
• Original footrests are lowered and set at the optimum angle.
• Rider footrests have two extra adjustment settings.
• Unobtrusive conversion with minimal extension to the side.
• Maximum cornering clearance.
• CNC machined.
• TÜV or ABE approved.
What arises is the feeling of being at one with the bike,
and cornering becomes much easier.
We have adapted the contours precisely to match those
of the footrest mount, and the low lateral displacement
yields the very highest level of cornering clearance.
There’s no need to alter the original holder, no loss of
function, and the BMW-system panniers can be used as
freely as before.
To ensure a secure contact, the surface of the footrest
is always at the correct angle to the boot. Easy to fit.

In some vehicles, when the handlebar is set at its highest
position the brake line can become strained. We
therefore recommend that you buy a longer brake line
and have a fair offer to make you: Order the brake line
as an optional extra and get your money back if you
don’t need it.
