Chapter 1: Product Overview 1-29 Other Integrated Devices and Indicators Hard Disk Drive A 2.5" IDE Hard Disk is included. The drive is the standard type that is usedbynotebookPCs.Theharddrivecanbeupgradedorreplaced through a special service access panel on the back of the unit. The hard drive interfaces through the primary IDE connection on the processor board. Reset Switch The Reset Switch is provided as a last resort to reboot the system if the software reset port mechanisms fail. This switch is located on the row of connectors that are located at the bottom of the enclosure. Although not intended to be easily accessible, the reset switch can be operated without removing covers or using any special tools. Note: On early models, there may be a hole in the cabinet providing access to the Reset Switch. Reset Switch 18373 Reset Procedure 1. Press the Reset Switch and hold it in for more than 4 seconds. The screen goes blank. 2. Press the Reset Switch again. The system then reboots.
