The Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) System is a national credentialing system
for the adult workforce. It sets skills standards to train, develop, assess and recognise individuals
for competencies companies are looking for. WSQ is underpinned by a strong quality assurance
WSQ LOGO
The Logo
Symbol
Wordmark
The overall identity of WSQ reflects a national system that is practical, relevant and accessible, developed to provide
tangible benefits to the Singapore workforce and employers.
The emphasis is on ‘Q’ or the ‘Qualifications’ that the workforce will attain as a result of skills upgrading through WSQ.
The letters ‘WS’ are encircled by ‘Q’ to magnify the importance of skills upgrading to enable workers and businesses to
stay competitive.
The WSQ logo comprises a symbol and a wordmark. These elements are locked together in a predefined arrangement.
It should always be used in its entirety, with no distortion, rearrangement or modification allowed. For examples of wrong
usage of the WSQ logo, please refer to page 11.
When spelling out the full name of the WSQ system, always use “Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications”, without
omitting the word ‘Singapore’.
The WSQ LOGO must be
• Used as a whole and without alteration
• Used without distortion (e.g stretching or narrowing of the logo)
• Used in the predetermined brand colours or in a one-colour version
Ensuring WSQ logo visibility
10
Exclusion Zone
Avoid including
anything in the
grey zone.
Wrong
Right
This refers to the minimum amount of white
space around the logo, as shown in the
diagram above. The white space determines
the amount of space around the logo, which is
recommended to be kept clear and free of other
design elements. An easy way to calculate the
exclusion zone is to place the logo in its required
size, then use the width of the “W” in the WSQ
logo as a guide all around the logo, as shown
in the diagram.
Recommended Minimum Size
1.5cm
0.5cm
For clear visibility of the WSQ logo, the size is recommended to be minimally 1.5cm (width) x 0.5cm (height). If there is
insufficient space in the marketing collaterals, please use the text “WSQ” without the logo in the collateral instead.
The requirements for Minimum Size and Exclusion Zone must be met for the WSQ
Logo to be acceptable and visible.
Minimum Size + Exclusion Zone = Effective WSQ Logo
instead of Company logo
Don’ts
2. Do not reduce the logo smaller than the minimum size
1.5cm
