ANGLEHEADS Technical Characteristics and Features<br />
Our AngleHeads are equipped with hardened<br />
and ground gears and collet shafts. Units are<br />
also fitted with high-precision angular contact<br />
bearings, assuring extreme rigidity and accuracy.<br />
Compact designs maintain accurate spindle and<br />
tool centerline alignment while minimizing tool<br />
overhang - accuracy is maintained throughout<br />
the machining process from plane to plane.<br />
Vernier Scales and Positioning Rings<br />
Vernier scales help to orient the cutting tool location<br />
(0 - 360°).<br />
Wrenches<br />
The proper wrenches are included with the purchase<br />
of your AngleHead.<br />
Collet Seats<br />
Our new Collet Seats provide stable and secure<br />
gripping force by having the collet sit totally inserted<br />
within the body of the AngleHead.<br />
Locking Pin / Stopper Pin<br />
The positioning pin and ring can also be oriented<br />
(0– 360°) to match your machining center’s spindle<br />
and automatic tool changer configuration by simply<br />
adjusting the positioning ring. Their design allows<br />
them to be used in most ATCs and machine tool<br />
magazines without interference.<br />
Collet Nut<br />
Combined with our new Collet Seat, featuring<br />
grooves and ridges for tightening, the absence of<br />
the external nut creates better rigidity and a<br />
smaller profile.<br />
