HUZAR 28 COFFE RACER
SWING KEEL SPECIFICATION
Huzar 28 development has been based on one fundamental assumption which is to provide the sailors
with the new revolutionary concept of the sailing yachts solutions and the unique design at the same
time.
The boat has the nickname „Coffee Racer” which well describes certain links with the European
motorbikes tradition.
That concept has been further developed into the following requirements:
1. In addition to the main solutions different from the other boats, the boat has been provided with
the multiple detail design features of the exterior and interior not seen before on the sailing
boats. For that purpose the young and talented design team included a naval architect and the
industrial designer with the experience in the modern design development.
2. The boat has been designed for the leisure sailing on the relatively short passages, but with the
full ability for overnight living, being equipped with the sufficient level of the comfort facilities
including sleeping space for four persons, separate toilet compartment, retractable galley module
and refrigeration. At the same time the boat is fully seaworthy meeting the requirements of the
design category B – “offshore”.
3. The boat has significant racing potential with the substantial sail area, optional lightweight epoxy
infusion hull and deck, which may be further upgraded by providing extended sail plan, carbon
rigging etc.

4. Still that standard model is designed for the single handed sailors with the average boat handling
skills and not necessarily having racing experience. Standard boat is equipped with the self
tacking jib, backstayless rigging and a minimum number of lines requiring operation.
5. The swing keel shallow draft model with the electrical auxiliary propulsion has been developed as
a result of the specific clients needs who would like to enjoy the style and speed of the Coffee
Racer on the shallow water and in the areas with the restrictive noise regulations.
6. The boat is build in small quantities and in a high degree of the customization. The customers are
welcomed to be a part of their boat customization design team. The yard is capable of providing
the highest quality of the product in terms of the best materials and elements used for the
construction and the excellent workmanship.
