WPSL WEBSITE CMS
Women’s Premier League Content Management Software
Welcome to the new WPSL Web Content Management system. Through Content Management Software (CMS)
you will be able to add and edit web content for your team.
I. Login
To administer the wpsl.info website, you can log on through the http://dev.wpsl.info/cms/. Here you will be asked
for a user name and password.
Once logged in you will have several areas to choose from:
Admin, About, Text Block, News, File Manager, Logo
Manager, Roster, Schedule, Venue, Staff and Advertisers.
II. Admin
The “Admin” window is where users are added and deleted.
Only the Administrator will have the option to create new
users and assign accessibility.
III. About
The “About” window is where you will be able to update your team information, (i.e. Team Contact, Coaches,
Type of Players, Colleges, Jersey Color, and Tryout information.
In the “About the Team” and “About the Coach”, you can
type directly in the text window or copy and paste from
another application. However, when copying from another
application sometime the formatting from the copying
document will also copy over and may make the website
story look different. So it is best to type directly into the
Content Manager
You can change the appearance of the text by highlight the
text and selecting any of the text formatting tools. (Similar to
Microsoft Word).
You can also add links and images using the
menu tool bar above the text field. If you would
like to view the html code check the “View
Source” at the bottom and the source code will
be displayed. The “Type of Player”, “Local
College” and “Tryouts” fields are plain text
fields, so you will need to put html tags for any
special formatting.
When adding a link or image you will need the
correct path. For example, to add an image
the url would look like: http://www.somedomain.com/images/picture.jpeg. A link would be:
http://www.somedomain.com. To save the information click the “Insert Link” or “OK” button.
