2011-2012 and seeking affiliation for the Second year 2012-2013 under

With reference to the Government Order cited under the reference,
Government has issued orders for implementing the procedures involved in the issue
of Affiliation orders for the newly established Diploma level Institutions, with effect
from 2011-2012 onwards. In the G.O, it has been stated that the procedures will be
followed consecutively for first 3 years for the newly established Diploma level
institutions, in order to verify the academic infrastructural facilities for first, second
and third year and Provisional Affiliation orders will be issued respectively for the
corresponding academic year alone. During 2011-2012, Affiliation Orders have been
issued for 14 Diploma level Institutions for First year only. As per G.O., all the 14
Institutions have to apply for Affiliation for Second year 2012-2013.
Applications are invited by the Commissioner of Technical Education in the
prescribed format for the grant of Affiliation for Second year with State Board of
Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu for the established / affiliated Diploma
level Institutions for first year during 2011-2012 and seeking affiliation for the
Second year 2012-2013 under Full Time, General / First Shift Programme for the
academic year 2012-2013. The prescribed Application Form can be downloaded from

Application Form for Seeking Affiliation for Second year for the Established /
Affiliated Diploma level Institutions for First year during 2011-2012 and seeking
affiliation for the Second year 2012-2013 under Full Time, General / First Shift
Programme. The filled–in applications should be submitted to Commissioner of
Technical Education, Chennai – 25 along with the Registration fee of Rs. 5,000/-
(Rupees Five Thousand only) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in any Nationalized
Bank in favour of the Commissioner of Technical Education, Chennai payable at
Chennai on or before 13.07.2012.
