ABOUT ASCP<br />

The <strong>American</strong> <strong>Society</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Consultant</strong><br />

Pharmacists (ASCP) is the international<br />

pr<strong>of</strong>essional society representing more than<br />

9,600 members that provide leadership,<br />

education, advocacy, and resources to advance<br />

the practice <strong>of</strong> senior care pharmacy.<br />

<strong>Consultant</strong> pharmacists specializing in<br />

senior care pharmacy practice are essential<br />

participants in the health care system,<br />

recognized and valued for the practice <strong>of</strong><br />

pharmaceutical care for the senior population<br />

and people with chronic illness.<br />

Through its members’ practice settings, ASCP’s<br />

membership represents the interests <strong>of</strong> more<br />

than three million <strong>of</strong> the nation’s elderly who<br />

rely on ASCP members for specialized drug<br />

distribution and information services.<br />

Corner premium:<br />

An additional $150 fee will be assessed for each 10’x10’ booth<br />

occupying a corner location. The minimum booth space available<br />

is 100 square feet or 10’x10’. There is no maximum on booth space<br />

rental. Space is limited. Island booths sell out quickly, so early<br />

submission <strong>of</strong> your application is strongly encouraged.<br />

<strong>Exhibit</strong>or Service Manuals<br />

*An <strong>Exhibit</strong>or Service Manual will be available to download in<br />

August 2013. This manual is to be used to order booth furnishings,<br />

carpet, electrical outlets, drayage, and other services.<br />

<strong>Exhibit</strong>or Housing and Booth Personnel Registration<br />

ASCP’s <strong>of</strong>ficial headquarters hotel is the Seattle Sheraton Hotel.<br />

The <strong>of</strong>ficial ASCP hotel block will open July, 2013. You must make<br />

hotel reservations directly with the Sheraton Seattle Hotel:<br />

Corporate Hospitality Suites and Ancillary Events<br />

ASCP has reserved a limited number <strong>of</strong> hospitality suites for use<br />

by exhibiting companies. Companies with booth space contracted<br />

in the <strong>Exhibit</strong>ion may use these suites for hospitality or nonhospitality<br />

purposes. Suite request forms will be available on line<br />

at www.ascp.com/annual2013. All requests must be sent to ASCP<br />

for approval. ASCP will then assign suites accordingly. Hospitality<br />

suites may not be open during <strong>of</strong>ficial meeting hours, which<br />

includes social events hosted by ASCP. A schedule <strong>of</strong> available<br />

times for companies to hold ancillary events can be requested.<br />
