This product is a professional multifunctional Triple W<strong>ave</strong>r with rotatable<br />

attachments for 2 different w<strong>ave</strong> styles. For a third style, you can remove the<br />

w<strong>ave</strong> attachment and your unit is transformed into a twin barrel curling iron for<br />

S curls and w<strong>ave</strong>s.<br />

USING YOUR TRIPLE WAVER<br />

PREPARING FOR USE<br />

• Before using the Triple W<strong>ave</strong>r we recommend using Poker Straight Flat Iron<br />

Protection Shine Mist or Heat Protection Professional Straightening Iron<br />

Protection Mist.<br />

• Please read and retain these instructions before operating for future reference.<br />

• Remove all packaging and keep safe.<br />

• For domestic use only.<br />

OPERATION<br />

This unit operates on a main AC 220-240V~50-60Hz 105W<br />

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE<br />

• Hair should be clean, dry and tangle free before using the product.<br />

• Section hair into strands of no more than 1cm deep and up to 6cm wide in a row.<br />

• Keep the hair smooth by brushing or combing through the section from scalp<br />

to tip.<br />

• Plug in the unit into mains and turn on, wait 30 seconds to allow the unit to<br />

reach its proper working temperature.<br />

• You can create different looks by rotating the w<strong>ave</strong>r attachments to create<br />

smaller and larger w<strong>ave</strong>s. Simply switch between w<strong>ave</strong> sizes by pressing the<br />

button at the top of the machine to release the w<strong>ave</strong>r and turn 180° and clip<br />

back in.<br />

• To create S curls remove the w<strong>ave</strong> attachment completely again by pressing<br />

the release button at the top of the machine, and use the unit as the twin<br />

curling iron.<br />

LEE’S TOP TIPS<br />

• This product has variable temperature control, therefore you can select the<br />

right temperature for your hair type.<br />

• Generally for thin hair, choose a lower temperature, normal hair choose a<br />

middle temperature, and thick hair you will need a higher temperature.<br />

• Open the unit completely.<br />

HOW TO CREATE WAVES<br />

• Taking one section at a time, place the hair over the barrel then press the<br />

product down and hold for 10 to 20 seconds.<br />

• Open the product again to release the hair. Move the w<strong>ave</strong>r down the hair<br />

following the crest of the w<strong>ave</strong>, then clamp to continue the w<strong>ave</strong>.<br />

• Once you h<strong>ave</strong> moved all the way to the ends of the section unclamp and<br />

allow the hair to cool.<br />

• After styling the first section , you should be careful not to slide the barrels<br />

along the hair. You must move the attachment from one crest to the next.<br />

• Move onto the next section until you h<strong>ave</strong> worked your way around the<br />

whole head.<br />

HOW TO CREATE CURLS<br />

• Taking one section at a time, loop the hair around the twin barrels in a figure<br />

of eight configuration.<br />

• Push the hair down the barrel so you h<strong>ave</strong> enough space to wrap the<br />

complete hair.<br />

• Hold the hair for 10 seconds and release hair and allow to cool.<br />

• Move onto the next section until you h<strong>ave</strong> worked your way around the<br />

whole head.<br />

• Be careful the hot barrels do not touch the scalp.<br />

• When the w<strong>ave</strong>s or curls h<strong>ave</strong> cooled thoroughly, you can either le<strong>ave</strong> as they<br />

are for a defined look or gently brush or comb out into your desired style.<br />

• To hold your style in place spritz hair with <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>Stafford</strong> Hold Tight Hair Spray.<br />

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE<br />

• The appliance must be unplugged before cleaning.<br />

• Let the appliance cool down before cleaning.<br />

• Clean the barrels with a soft cloth or sponge moistened with a mild soap<br />

and water.<br />

• Dry thoroughly before use.<br />

• Do not use any harsh detergents, abrasives, solvents or cleaners.<br />

• Never immerse in water to clean.<br />

STORAGE<br />

• Ensure the product is completely dry, switched off and unplugged from the<br />

mains before storage.<br />

• Store in original box in a cool, dry place.<br />

• Store in a safe place, away from children.<br />

This product may emit slight smoke for a few seconds when first switched on.<br />

This is entirely normal; it is only the protective coating (on the heating element)<br />

being burnt off.<br />

For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD)<br />

having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable.<br />

Only use <strong>Lee</strong> <strong>Stafford</strong> attachments.<br />

and bare skin, particularly at the face and neck.<br />

3 ALWAYS ensure the appliance is switched off, unplugged from the mains and<br />

it has cooled down before storing.<br />

used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack<br />

plug or mains cord. If it has the unit must not be used.<br />

7 NEVER use this product near bathrooms, showers, basins or other vessels<br />

containing water and do not immerse in water or any other liquids.<br />

7 NEVER place the unit near heat sensitive materials.<br />

7 NEVER le<strong>ave</strong> unattended when plugged in and operating.<br />

7 NEVER wind the mains cord around the handle or barrels when hot or while<br />

IMPORTANT SAFETY POINTS<br />

Read these instructions thoroughly before using this appliance or connecting to<br />

the mains supply.<br />

A 13 amp BS1362 ASTA approved fuse must be fitted.<br />

Before switching on, make sure that the voltage of your electricity supply is the<br />

same as that indicated on the rating plate. Connecting it to any other power<br />

source may cause damage.<br />

This product may be fitted with a non-rewirable plug. If it is necessary to change<br />

the fuse in the plug, the fuse cover must be refitted. If the fuse cover becomes<br />

lost or damaged, the plug must not be used until a suitable replacement is<br />

obtained.<br />

If the plug has to be changed because it is not suitable for your socket, or due<br />

to damage, it should be cut off and a replacement fitted, following the wiring<br />

instructions shown. The old plug must be disposed of safely because inserting it<br />

into a socket could cause an electrical hazard.<br />

The wires in the power cable of this product are coloured in accordance with<br />

the following code:<br />

Blue = Neutral Brown = Live<br />

If the markings on the terminals of your plug do not correspond to the colours<br />

shown of the wires in the power cable, proceed as follows:<br />

The wire which is coloured Blue must be connected to The terminal which is<br />

marked N or coloured Black.<br />

The wire which is coloured Brown must be connected to the terminal which is<br />

marked L or coloured Red.<br />

DO NOT connect any wires to the earth terminal.<br />
