USING YOUR BIG VOLUME HEATED ROLLERS<br />

PREPARING FOR USE<br />

1. Remove all packaging <strong>and</strong> keep safe.<br />

2. For domestic use only.<br />

OPERATION<br />

This unit operates on main AC 220-240V, 50Hz.<br />

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE<br />

• Hair should be clean, dry <strong>and</strong> tangle free before using the product.<br />

• To preheat the rollers, place over the heating tubes in the heating unit.<br />

• Do not operate the heating unit unless all the rollers are in place.<br />

• Close the cover on the heating unit <strong>and</strong> insert the plug into a suitable wall outlet.<br />

• The red indicator light will be on when the preheating starts.<br />

• The rollers have a heat ready indicator dot which changes colour once the<br />

rollers are ready.<br />

• Only one roller per size has the heat ready indicator dot.<br />

• Once the rollers are preheated, switch the unit off <strong>and</strong> take the rollers out,<br />

one by one.<br />

• Do not touch any part of the roller other than its plastic rim.<br />

• Do not place the hot rollers on heat sensitive surfaces.<br />

• Remove the plug from the wall outlet afterwards.<br />

• Ensure the voltage being used is the correct voltage for this product.<br />

• Allow unit to cool before storing away.<br />

• Make sure the hair is dry <strong>and</strong> there are no knots or tangles within the hair to<br />

avoid any snagging.<br />

• Section the hair into manageable sections.<br />

• Take a roller <strong>and</strong> open the large clamp. Prepare a hair str<strong>and</strong> about 4cm wide.<br />

• While holding the hair under tension, open the small clamp with the grip <strong>and</strong><br />

secure the tip of the hair.<br />

• Now the hair can be curled up to the hairline around the roller.<br />

• Secure the roller using the large clamp.<br />

• To remove the rollers, open both clamps <strong>and</strong> remove each roller gently from<br />

the hair by turning it.<br />

LEE’S TOP TIPS<br />

• When styling fine hair, the roller should be left in the hair for around 5<br />

minutes. For thicker hair for around 15-20 minutes is recommended.<br />

• The longer the rollers remain in place, the more set the curls become.<br />

• Allow the hair sufficient time to cool down before combing or styling it.<br />

Finish with Hold Tight Hairspray.<br />

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE<br />

• The appliance must be unplugged before cleaning.<br />

• Let the appliance cool down before cleaning.<br />

• If necessary the appliance may be wiped with a dry lint-free cloth.<br />

• Do not use any harsh detergents, abrasives, solvents or cleaners.<br />

• Never immerse in water to clean.<br />

STORAGE<br />

• Ensure the product is completely dry, switched off <strong>and</strong> unplugged from the<br />

mains before storage.<br />
