USING YOUR BIG VOLUME HEATED ROLLERS
PREPARING FOR USE
1. Remove all packaging and keep safe.
2. For domestic use only.
OPERATION
This unit operates on main AC 220-240V, 50Hz.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• Hair should be clean, dry and tangle free before using the product.
• To preheat the rollers, place over the heating tubes in the heating unit.
• Do not operate the heating unit unless all the rollers are in place.
• Close the cover on the heating unit and insert the plug into a suitable wall outlet.
• The red indicator light will be on when the preheating starts.
• The rollers have a heat ready indicator dot which changes colour once the
rollers are ready.
• Only one roller per size has the heat ready indicator dot.
• Once the rollers are preheated, switch the unit off and take the rollers out,
one by one.
• Do not touch any part of the roller other than its plastic rim.
• Do not place the hot rollers on heat sensitive surfaces.
• Remove the plug from the wall outlet afterwards.
• Ensure the voltage being used is the correct voltage for this product.
• Allow unit to cool before storing away.
• Make sure the hair is dry and there are no knots or tangles within the hair to
avoid any snagging.

• Section the hair into manageable sections.
• Take a roller and open the large clamp. Prepare a hair strand about 4cm wide.
• While holding the hair under tension, open the small clamp with the grip and
secure the tip of the hair.
• Now the hair can be curled up to the hairline around the roller.
• Secure the roller using the large clamp.
• To remove the rollers, open both clamps and remove each roller gently from
the hair by turning it.
LEE’S TOP TIPS
• When styling fine hair, the roller should be left in the hair for around 5
minutes. For thicker hair for around 15-20 minutes is recommended.
• The longer the rollers remain in place, the more set the curls become.
• Allow the hair sufficient time to cool down before combing or styling it.
Finish with Hold Tight Hairspray.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• The appliance must be unplugged before cleaning.
• Let the appliance cool down before cleaning.
• If necessary the appliance may be wiped with a dry lint-free cloth.
• Do not use any harsh detergents, abrasives, solvents or cleaners.
• Never immerse in water to clean.
STORAGE
• Ensure the product is completely dry, switched off and unplugged from the
mains before storage.

• Store in the original box in a cool, dry place.
• Store in a safe place, away from children.

NEVER
7 NEVER use this product if it is not working correctly, if it has been dropped
or damaged or dropped into water or any other liquid or if it has a damaged
plug or mains cord. If it has the unit must not be used.
7 NEVER use with wet hands.
7 NEVER use this product near bathrooms, showers, basins or other vessels
containing water and do not immerse in water or any other liquids.
7 NEVER place the unit near heat sensitive materials.
7 NEVER leave unattended when plugged in and operating.
7 NEVER wind the mains cord around the unit when hot or while storing.
7 NEVER store while still connected to the mains.
7 NEVER attempt repairs yourself. Repairs to electrical appliances should only
be performed by a qualified electrician. Improper repairs may place the user
at serious risk and will invalidate the guarantee.

IMPORTANT SAFETY POINTS
Read these instructions thoroughly before using this appliance or connecting to
the mains supply.
A 5 amp BS1362 ASTA approved fuse must be fitted.
Before switching on, make sure that the voltage of your electricity supply is the
same as that indicated on the rating plate. Connecting it to any other power
source may cause damage.
This product may be fitted with a non-rewirable plug. If it is necessary to change
the fuse in the plug, the fuse cover must be refitted. If the fuse cover becomes lost
or damaged, the plug must not be used until a suitable replacement is obtained.
If the plug has to be changed because it is not suitable for your socket, or due
to damage, it should be cut off and a replacement fitted, following the wiring
instructions shown. The old plug must be disposed of safely because inserting it
into a socket could cause an electrical hazard.
The wires in the power cable of this product are coloured in accordance with
the following code:
Blue = Neutral Brown = Live Green/Yellow = Earth connection
If the markings on the terminals of your plug do not correspond to the colours
shown of the wires in the power cable, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured Blue must be connected to The terminal which is
marked N or coloured Black.
The wire which is coloured Brown must be connected to the terminal which is
marked L or coloured Red.
WARNING! WHERE THERE IS AN, OR ‘EARTH’, (green/yellow), WIRE IT IS
ESSENTIAL TO YOUR SAFETY TO SEE THAT IT IS CORRECTLY FITTED TO THE
‘EARTH’ PIN OF THE PLUG AND THAT NO OTHER WIRE IS ATTACHED TO THIS
TERMINAL! The EARTH terminal is always easily recognisable from the fact that
it is longer than the other two.
