EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AND DISTRICT ADVISORY GROUP
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE ELECTIONS
There will be one position on the Executive Committee up for election this fall. Todd Lettow, Hampton, has
completed his second term on the Executive Committee and is not eligible for re-election. This position,
Administrative Representative, is open for election, term ending 2016. Superintendents and High School
Principals of member schools are eligible for this position.
Nomination blanks for each vacancy will be mailed August 12, 2011, and must be received by the Election
Board by August 26, 2011. The top two candidates, plus ties, will be named as nominees for each position.
The Offi cial Ballots, with the qualifi ed nominees' names printed thereon, will be mailed to member schools
on September 9, 2011. The chair of the Elections Board must receive the election ballots by September 23,
2011. The newly elected member will assume duties upon notifi cation of election by the Executive Director.

DISTRICT ADVISORY GROUP ELECTIONS
District Advisory Group members are selected for a three-year term on a rotating basis. Terms will be expiring
for representatives from the southern three districts. This fall we need to elect a Vocal Music Representative
from the SW District; an Administrative Representative (Superintendent or High School Principal)
from the SC District; and an Instrumental Representative from the SE District, terms ending 2014. Ballots
for nomination and election will be included with the ballots for nomination/election for the Executive Committee
position.

NFHS MUSIC ASSOCIATION - FOR ALL MUSIC TEACHERS
AND/OR ADJUDICATORS
The NFHS Music Association presents an attractive package of benefi ts to persons
involved with either the direction or adjudication of high school musicians.
