Sealed tenders are invited for purchase of Drugs & Consumables under different
Programmes of NRHM from the Distributors / Suppliers / Manufacturers. The tender paper
completed in all respect should be submitted to the undersigned on or before 19.02.2011 till
1PM & will be opened on the same day at 2PM in the office chamber of the
CDMO,Subarnapur. The envelop must be super-scribed with” ITEMS OF NRHM
PURCHASE”. The Details regarding the list of items, specification, terms and conditions
can be obtained from the Dist. Drug Management Unit, O/o the CDMO, Subarnpur on any
working day from the date of publication or can be downloaded from
www.subarnapur.nic.in or www.nrhmorissa.gov.in.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
01. Tender will be received by the undersigned on nor before dt. 19.02.2011 up to 1 P.M. and will
be opened on dt.19.02.2011 at 2.00P.M. in presence of the tenders or their authorized
representative. If any bidder fails to be present, there is no bar for opening of tender.
02. The tender paper should be clearly typed / written in English and rates should be clearly
visible.
03. Delivery of the Drugs should be FOR destination i.e. Central Store, DHH, Subarnapur.
04. The rates should be mentioned inclusive of all taxes.
05. The undersigned/ Committee is not bound to accept the lowest tender rate considering the
technical aspect.
06. The rate of present tender will be valid up to 1 Year or inviting of next tender which ever is
earlier.
07. If any information or document furnished by the tender is found to be incorrect or misleading
at any stage the tender will be rejected.

08. The selected firm should deposit 2% of purchase order value towards processing fees and
quality testing fees at office of the CDMO, Subarnapur.
09. The authority/ Committee reserve the right to accept or reject any or all the tender without
assigning any reasons thereof.
Eligibility Criteria for Firms:
a) The manufacturers / suppliers having past record of supplying of the drugs &
consumables to any govt sector will be given preference, if no such manufacturing
unit is participating in the tender or willing to supply, other bidders will be
considered.
b) The drug manufacturer must have valid Drug License, VAT certificate, GMP/WHO
GMP certificate & ISO Certificate for drugs & other items & authentic license for
conducting sterilization by Gamma Radiation, making kits and also their performance
certificate and proof of this must be submitted at the time of submission of tender.
**** Condition:
a) All the tablets/ capsules must be supplied in blister or aluminum packing. No loose
drugs will be procured.
b) The supply is to be made in less number of batches (i.e less than 3nos) and maximum
two phases and should arrive at the warehouse with remaining shelf life of at least
5/6 th of the stipulated total shelf life from the date of manufacturing of that product.
c) The supply should be completed within 60 days from the date of issue of the purchase
order.
d) All the strips / boxes/ pouches/ vials/ packing should be stamped with labeling “Govt
supply Not for Sale” in indelible ink. MRP if mentioned any where must be erased.
e) All drugs must be of generic formulation. If generic formulation of that drug is not
available then the brand name may be considered for exigency of public service.
Quality Testing
a) At the time of supply, the supplier must submit a test report of the batches being
supplied from a NABL approved laboratory that the supplied drugs are of standard quality,
basing on which the drugs can be used/ distributed.
f) The purchaser will do random testing of the supplied drugs if required for which
quality testing, packing & forwarding charges if any will be borne by the supplier.
