A Beautiful Bride, In Bonnie Scotland
Unless you have unlimited funds, chances are your wedding day will have to be done on
some sort of budget. If your budget doesn’t stretch to the UK average of £18,500 (http://
www.weddingsday.co.uk/average-wedding-cost), it’s a good idea to open a ‘wedding
bank account’ so any spare cash, as well as your planned monthly wedding savings, can
be put straight into this account!
Despite its small size, Scotland is a diverse country with a wealth of stunning venues in which
to tie the knot. In fact, you can actually get married practically anywhere in Scotland, including
on top of a mountain, on the lakeside of a romantic loch or on the sparkling white sands of a
beach. This is only possible because the minister, priest, celebrant or clergyman that marries
you carries a licence that means you can choose your venue, no matter how wild or romantic!
That’s the beauty of getting married in Scotland; you can just pick your favourite spot and go
for it, whether that’s a traditional castle, ancient lighthouse or even under the tree where your
husband-to-be got down on one knee.
If you’re getting married in Scotland, Reflect would like to recommend a trip to The Scottish
Wedding Show, which takes place at Glasgow SECC from September 15th to 16th 2012. The
spring show, which took place on the 18th and 19th of February, boasted stalls from over 300
of Scotland’s leading wedding suppliers and the autumn show promises to attract just as many.
For more information, or to book tickets, visit www.thescottishweddingshow.com
The ‘Scottish Wedding Directory’ is the ultimate guide to getting married in Scotland and is
widely regarded as the Scottish bride’s ‘bible’. For more info or to order your copy, please visit
Inject a Little Bit of
Scottish Culture into your
Wedding favours for woman are usually pretty easy to choose – from trinket
boxes to beautiful compact mirrors – but men are often a little harder to cater
for. However if you are stuck for ideas for wedding favours for the male guests
at your upcoming nuptials Sporran Keyrings have the perfect solution – a
beautifully crafted, traditional
Scottish Sporran Keyring.
Niall MacGregor began
Sporran Keyrings more than
six years ago, and now receives
orders for the keyrings from
across the UK as well as from
places as far away as America,
Australia, Hong Kong, Turkey,
Canada and Germany, with
people selecting the unique
keyring as the ideal wedding
favour for their guests.
Niall said: : “My first order
for Sporran Keyrings was in
January 2006, just after the
launch of www.sporrankeyrings.
co.uk a month earlier. This order
was for a customer all the way
in Australia and took me by
surprise! Little did I know how a
small keyring in the shape of a
gent’s sporran would catch the
“It quickly became obvious that 90 per
cent of all orders were from people getting
married – it seemed to be the perfect
wedding favour, at the right price. It also
doubles up as a superb place card holder
at the dinner table and the guests love
them. I am particularly proud of the fact
that our product is completely Scottish, the keyrings are made in Scotland by
Scottish crafts men and women – the order is not shipped off to a factory elsewhere
in the world.
“It is such a unique and inexpensive gift for St. Andrew’s Day, New Year’s Eve,
Hogmanay, Burns Nights, weddings, anniversaries and any Scottish themed
parties, it may be used as a memento on its own or as a place card holder to
enhance tables and engage guests. It is especially a fantastic wedding favour for
male guests who may not always be enthusiastic about regular favours, such as
sugared almonds and a new bright red colour has also recently been introduced
which may appeal to the lady wedding guests.”
As well as a great idea for favours for wedding guests, the keyrings are also a
fantastic way of injecting a little bit of Scottish flavour to your special day –
something that is undoubtedly appreciated especially by those Scots living
and getting married away from Scotland. The fact that it can also double up
as a place card holder is something that can help keep costs down. Sporran
Keyrings are happy for customers to purchase just one keyring to assess before
placing a larger order, the bigger order you eventually place the lower the cost
per keyring will be.
A National Trust property that first opened its doors to
visitors in July 2004, Birmingham Back to Backs are the last
surviving court of back-to-back houses (built literally backto-back
around a communal courtyard) in the whole of the
West Midlands. Situated in the heart of Birmingham, Back to
Backs give visitors a glimpse of Birmingham during four time
periods, thanks to four unique properties from the 1840s,
1870s, 1930s and 1970s.
On a fascinating guided tour, visitors can discover the lives of
some of the former residents who crammed into these small
houses to live and work; there were often whole families,
with six children or more, living in just three rooms. There’s
also the opportunity to discover how the lives of these
residents shaped the city that Birmingham is today.
Manager, Simon Hall, told Reflect: “As a living museum, Back
to Backs allows visitors to experience the sights, sounds and
smells of life in 19th and 20th Century Birmingham. Our four
properties, dedicated to four different periods, enable visitors to
discover the lives of some of the former residents who crammed
into these small houses to live and work; there were often whole
families, with six children or more, living in just three rooms. All
the properties reflect the period in which they’re set, so some
have no electricity or running water and are heated solely by
coal fire. The properties are a real trip back in time.”
Back to Backs is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
afternoons from 1pm during school term time and Friday,
Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 5pm, except in
January when the property is closed. Booking a guided tour
is highly recommended, especially during busy periods.
Bookings can be made by calling 0121 6667671.
Standard admission: £6.30 for adults, £3.20 for children and
£14.80 for a family (two adults and up to three children). Gift
Aid admission, which includes a 10% donation: £6.95 for
adults, £3.60 for children and £16.30 for a family ticket.
If you’d like to visit Birmingham Back to Backs but would also
like to enjoy a self-catering break in the heart of Birmingham,
Celebrating The
Best In Business
Can you believe that it’s July already Although
everyone at Reflect is currently taking a well-earned
rest, we’ve been working hard since the start of the
year to bring you the best companies providing the
highest quality goods and services from around the
UK. Recognising that customers are eager to find
companies that can offer the whole package, high
quality goods, competitive prices and outstanding
customer service, as well as items that aren’t readily
available on the High Street, we dedicate our time to
highlighting those who boast something special.
Over the last few years we’ve gone from being a nation of
shoppers to a nation of savers, as we avoid the High Street in
favour of hanging on to our hard earned cash. This has dealt
a devastating blow to our independent, local businesses,
who have closed at an alarming rate, particularly in smaller
market towns. Many companies across the country have
suffered the effects of the recession, but it’s our local
businesses that have been hit hardest. Without the financial
backup of a parent company, with a chain of businesses,
they are finding it tough to stay afloat.
cottages, located at 52 and 54 Inge Street. Each three-storey
property sleeps two; one cottage has a double bed whilst
the other has twin beds. The kitchens are on the ground floor
of the views over the city. For more information on booking
Reflect Editor recently paid a visit to Back to Backs for a
guided tour, she says: “Back to Backs is teeming with history;
how people worked, lived and loved across the eras. Standing
in the third floor bedroom of one of the houses, looking over a
beautiful courtyard, I could almost hear the children playing,
mothers cleaning and the general everyday goings-on that
define the Victorian era. Back to Backs offers an educational
insight into a very important part of our history and heritage;
it’s well worth a visit and my husband and I will definitely be
returning.”
Many companies across the country have suffered the effects of the recession,
but it’s our local businesses that have been hit hardest. Without the financial
backup of a parent company, with a chain of businesses, they are finding it tough
to keep afloat. However, there are ways that you can help your local, independent
businesses survive. By choosing to shop or employ the services of local companies,
you can help them to flourish. You may also find that choosing local is to your
benefit, as you are treated to a more personal service. The companies within
this feature offer their customers the whole package: high quality products and
competitive prices, as well as an excellent and personal service.
Although these companies are offering different things, the factors that lead to
success remain the same, good customer service, reliability and professionalism
are three of the most important factors for keeping customers happy – and happy
customers means more recommendations and more success!
Reflect Editor, Elaine Ellis, says: “Each issue, we strive to bring excellent companies to
the attention of our readers, no matter what feature we’re working on. We believe it is
important to highlight the companies in and around Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire,
as well as further afield, that not only offer excellent value for money, but also excellent
customer service and high quality goods/services. We pride ourselves on hunting out
the best companies that cater to our readership and work exceptionally hard to give
the customer exactly what they want.”
Sisland Tithe Barn Named
Reflect’s Hidden Gem
With so many charming cottages, well-appointed camp sites, luxurious
barn conversions, contemporary hotels and quaint bed and breakfasts
littered across Great Britain, it can be hard to find the best place to
enjoy a well-earned break. Awarded Reflect’s Certificate of Recognition
for Norfolk’s Hidden Gem, The Tithe Barn in Sisland, on the outskirts of
the historic city of Norwich caters for everyone.
Boasting peace, tranquillity and breathtaking vistas in abundance, The Tithe Barn is a
multi-generational holiday destination catering for the whole family – offering a luxurious
converted barn for bed and breakfast accommodation, a modern and stylish self-catering
property and ‘glamping’ in The Showman’s Wagon for the perfect way to spend a romantic
weekend under the Sisland stars. It’s somewhere the whole family can enjoy a holiday, which
is why Reflect were happy to award them with our Certificate of Recognition for Norfolk’s
Hidden Gem. Editor, Elaine Ellis, said: “Located within easy reach of Norwich, the Norfolk Broads
and the Suffolk Heritage Coast, The Tithe Barn offers the perfect gateway to discover East Anglia.
With a stunningly peaceful and picturesque location, a break to The Tithe Barn provides the perfect
opportunity to sit back and relax.”
The Tithe Barn’s owners, Jane and Lesley, added: “We are delighted to receive this recognition,
particularly as this is a totally new venture for us. It’s great to know that all the time and effort that
we’ve put in is paying off. Thank-you Reflect.”
Owl Barn
In a rural, but accessible location, Owl Barn is a stunning self-catering property offering
exceptional comfort, style and privacy. The open-plan design of the kitchen and dining area
creates a lovely airy atmosphere, complemented by contemporary home comforts including
a TV and DVD player, an iPod docking station and free Wi-Fi access. The luxury bathroom
features a modern bathroom suite and wet-room shower. A well placed skylight enables
you to relax in the bath and look up at the stars. French windows overlook the private
garden and nearby marches complete with a resident Barn Owl. Owl Barn has its own
private parking for two cars, a secluded patio and garden with comfortable furniture and a
barbecue. At present, Orchard Barn, a second self-catering property, is under construction.
The Hayloft
One of the two Bed & Breakfast rooms that opened in January 2012, The Hayloft features
exposed beams and contemporary furnishings, two TVs and an iPod docking station. The
request. In addition, The Tithe Barn is licensed to serve alcohol.
The Showman’s Wagon
Inspired by an original design, The Showman’s Wagon was traditionally hand-built by a
Norfolk craftsman. It offers an ideal opportunity to get away from it all. Inside, The Wagon
boasts an extending double bed (with a large storage area underneath which can double
up as a ‘secret’ children’s den or sleeping area), seating with storage lockers underneath, an
ingenious pull-out dining table and a wardrobe. A continental breakfast is delivered to your
door in the morning and a Kotlich is provided in the garden area on which to cook your
own meals. For the less adventurous cooks, meals can be provided by prior arrangement.
An adjacent shower block and toilet area provide modern facilities and, should the weather
turn inclement, guests have access to a room within the barn complete with a comfortable
sofa and widescreen TV complete with Freeview.
The brainchild of TV/radio presenter, Chris Evans, the motoring extravaganza,
CarFest, has proved so popular in its maiden year that tickets are currently
completely sold out for both the North and South shows. CarFest was thought up
by Chris Evans when he gave up bread for lent and invented the show in order to
keep himself busy.
The Show raises money for Children in Need and takes place over two days and
will feature a classic car exhibition, food festival and live rock music. The south
show will take place on August Bank Holiday weekend on August 25th and 26th
at Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire and the north show will take place on the
weekend of 8th and 9th September at Cholmondeley Castle, Cheshire.
On the first day of each festival, attendees wanting to sell their cars – between
£5,000 and £25,000 - will be able to put them up for auction at the ‘Pride and
Joy’ auction, the auction will take the form of an American style auction where
car owners can drive their cars on to a stage, presenting it to potential bidders.
Silverstone will also host a Sunday auction for those cars worth more than
£25,000.
In keeping with the events ‘family-fun’ theme, CarFest will have a central arena to
2012: A Great
Year For
Car Lovers
host a range of performances, including dancing JCB diggers and Segway Racing.
There will also be amazing air displays to marvel at, as a massive 105,000 cubic
feet balloon will take to the skies, weather permitting of course.
There will also be bread making classes and face painting. When it comes to food
there will be a large variety, guaranteed to appeal to all tastes – from breads,
cheeses and rolls to sausages and flans. To raise a little competitive spirit, cake
makers and pie makers will be pitted against each other. As cakes and pies are
eliminated throughout the weekend, they will be made available for visitors to
buy.
Campsites will be available at both festivals, with facilities such as water stand
pipes, toilets and showers and catering outlets will be open on the camp site
when the festival site is closed. For those preferring to ‘glamp’ rather than
camp there are 5m canvas bell tents available with fresh linen, towels and even
romantic lighting! In addition there will also be disabled camping areas and
facilities.
For Accident Repairs with a
Truly Personal Touch
Having specialised in a range of repair works for
more than 30 years and providing the personal
touch to customers, Heritage Coachworks, run by
Freddie Heritage, is the perfect place to go for all
your car repairs.
Freddie began the car repair business after being
made redundant from his previous car repair
position at a different company. Over the years he
has built up a loyal base of customers who turn
to him in times of need, returning for the quality
of work as well as for the high level of customer
service.
Freddie said:“In this day and age there are huge
companies offering repair services but the thing
with such companies is that customers can find
themselves reduced simply to a job number. At
Heritage Coachworks this is as far from the case as
is possible –customers are treated with the utmost
respect and I work closely with them to ensure the
desired result is achieved. The customer service
offered at Heritage Coachworks is second-to-none
and I try my best to ensure that the customer is
happy. I always strive to provide the personal touch.”
In Heritage Coachworks’ workshop Freddie repairs,
services and carries out welding to the highest
standards. The company has a proven track record
working with the public, the motor trade and
insurance companies alike and are happy to work
on anything from a small dent or scrape to a full
restoration or major accident repairs, detailing
repairs and mechanical repairs. Using the latest
paint mixing systems Freddie is able to match any
paint colour by adjusting tinters to create the perfect
match and so creating a special custom paint finish
for your car and he can even supply and fit body kits
to enhance the character of your car for a sporty
look.
Freddie began his career in the motor trade in 1968
and his interest in cars goes back to his childhood
when his father used to work with cars. After being
made redundant from his car repair job Freddie
began taking on freelance jobs before founding
Heritage Coachworks. Freddie is happy to work with
any car but is particularly experienced with Peugeots
and Citroens, having worked with them extensively
over the course of his career.
Freddie said: “The job has become more of a
hobby now – I absolutely love renovating old cars.
Finishing a job and standing back and seeing the
difference on a car is an extremely rewarding part
of my job.”
Rolls-Royce Phantom II Sedanca De Ville
The combination of specialist teams of classic car enthusiasts and almost
30 years of experience working on classic cars means that Classic
Restorations (Scotland) Ltd is the perfect place to take your vintage car
for restoration works or servicing.
Classic Restorations (Scotland) Ltd has grown from a workforce of just two
people in 1983 to employing 17 workers today - many with more than 20 years of
experience working with classic cars. Charles Palmer, the managing director, has a
life-long passion for classic cars and has been working with them since his teenage
years – for around 60 years!
Charles said: “We all enjoy working with classic cars; we are all skilled in that particular
area. When you have worked on a car and then see it driving at a show it is so rewarding.
We do everything on site – from bodywork to coach trimming, mechanical and
engineering work. We also train up apprentices ourselves – at the moment we have three
of them. I think it is important to keep alive the traditional craft skills, which I myself
learned nearly 60 years ago, and are in danger of disappearing.”
It is for this dedication to keeping alive traditional skills that Classic Restorations
(Scotland) Ltd were recently rewarded with Reflect’s Certificate of Recognition
for Keeping the Past Alive. Charles said of the Certificate: “I am thrilled to receive
Reflect Magazine’s Certificate of Recognition for Keeping the Past Alive. I think it is
extremely important to train young people up in order to preserve and keep these vital
skills alive. The continuing popularity of classic cars means that the skills offered by
companies such as ours remain important, especially as there are not many companies
specialising in classic cars. A friend of mine in his 60s in London retired but was asked to
MG ‘Y’ Type Saloon
Very attractive, a limousine
in miniature.
go back and complete work on an engine that needed building – there was no one else
they could turn to with the skills needed in their modern dealership workshop.”
The company offers a range of services, from coach trimming, coach work,
body work, paint work and engineering and mechanical services, in addition to
restoration work they also offer servicing and repair work and get many calls
for help from classic car clubs on Scottish tours and events. They also work on
modern cars as well as classics and have built strong community ties, establishing a
particularly important relationship with Perth Technical College, where all of their
apprentices are sent on their day and block release courses.
Charles himself owns a range of classic cars – a Bentley, a Rolls Royce and a Jaguar
- he said: “I absolutely love classic cars, I love their elegance especially. It is something
you no longer see in the cars of today. Take Rolls Royce for example, they still make cars
today but their modern cars are not like their vintage ones, they are not as elegant or
as beautiful to look at. They are not made in the same why as the classics – it is too
expensive to build them the same way, today everything is computerised and cars depend
on electronic gadgetry. My father was not a mechanic but he could work on cars in his
day, today to work on modern cars you need a degree in computer science!
“Classic cars are so desirable because their modern counterparts are so different. They
are unlike any models available today. My wife says my fascination with them is a disease
only curable by death! I suppose my interest in them began during World War II, there
were no cars on the road as there was no petrol, and my father would potter with his car
in the garage. My family has worked in the transport business for years – my grandfather
worked in a livery stable and my uncle drove a bus during the Blitz.”
If you love shopping but have a
wardrobe that is full to bursting and
a bank account that would prefer
you to lay off the spending for a little
while, The Dressing Room, Newmarket,
welcomes you to bring in your
unwanted items and gives you 50 per
cent of the price they sell it at. Sound
good
The shop was set up two years ago by
Bev Beak, a former HR manager, who
believes women buy much more than
they actually need and thus have a lot of items they do not require. By bringing
in the items you no longer use or need you can make some money and
perhaps reinvest it on previously loved items from the shop rather than paying
full price for expensive brands.
Bev said: “The shop is quite like an Aladdin’s Cave – it is filled with plenty of
beautiful things, from hats and fascinators, to shoes, bags and clothes. I think
it is a fantastic way to recycle clothes, to pass on the ones that you no longer
need and purchase items from the shop which are a fraction of the price
they’d be if they were new. The items in the shop are in good condition and no
more than three-years-old.”
The shop is happy to receive items of
clothing, shoes or bags, a selling price
will be agreed with you of which 50 per
cent will be given to you when the item
is sold. The item will stay in the shop for
six weeks and if after this time it remains
unsold it will be returned to you or
passed onto a charity.
A Florist Sundries Wholesaler with All the
Trimmings and a Personal Touch...
A florist sundries wholesaler
that was started up more than
30 years ago by a school leaver
with a love for sport is still
thriving, having progressed to
selling artificial flowers, vases,
bridal accessories, ribbons,
baskets and much, much more.
The business was started up by Wendy Smith, after she
left school and was determined that she would work
for herself in order that she could carry on doing the
thing she loved most - playing sport, namely tennis
and hockey. Thus W and M Smith, near Stowmarket,
was born. Today they stock everything from an
extensive range of silk flowers, as well as parchment
and fruits and also spectacular dried flowers imported
from Holland to ribbons, cellophane, flower sleeves,
rondellas and counter rolls and even hop garlands
when they are in season. Also on offer are a varied
range of bridal accessories, from posy holders to pearls
and a variety of beads and stamens and even sugared
almonds.
Mary Smith, Wendy’s mother, said: “The business has
come such a long way from all those years ago when
Wendy started it up as a new school leaver and that is in
a lot of ways testament to how hard Wendy has worked
at it and the level of dedication she has displayed. The
business has enjoyed such success that Wendy no longer
has the time to pursue playing sport, although she is
currently umpiring at Wimbledon.
“The customers who come to W and M Smith receive
an extremely high level of customer service – nothing is
too much for Wendy, no request impossible – she really
is prepared to help anyone with anything. The shop is
unique in that it offers such a vast range of items and there
is such a friendly atmosphere in the shop, customers are
more than welcome to sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee
or tea! The shop is in such a lovely country area – there are
Happy & Healthy
Sue Carey Reflexology
Happy Feet With
Peak Chiropody Clinic
Our lives are becoming more and more stressful. According to the mental health
charity, Mind, more people than ever are phoning in sick or quitting their jobs due
to unmanageable levels of workplace stress; excessive workloads and bullying
have been blamed for the rise.
Stress has been linked to a number of physical and psychological ailments, from
backache and heart disease, to anxiety and insomnia, prolonged exposure to stress
can have a devastating impact on our health and wellbeing. Therefore, it’s vital we
learn to relax and reduce our stress levels.
Talking to a counsellor is a traditional way of reducing your stress levels, dealing
with any issues you may have or even to improving your mood. Despite being
a social taboo that has a certain stigma attached, seeing a counsellor is not
something you should feel ashamed of.
Visiting a medium can help relieve stress, especially if the main source of your
stress is caused by unresolved issues with a deceased loved one. A medium will not
only help you to move on with your life, but can also give you an idea about what
to expect from your future.
There are many different types of healing available which can help to calm you, as
well as remove your negative thoughts and negative energy. Complementary and
alternative therapies are becoming
increasingly popular within the UK
and a third of medical practices now
offer some form of complementary
medicine in-house. Reflect would
like to recommend Reflexology,
a complementary therapy which
involves using massage to reflex
areas found in the feet and the hands.
There are reflex areas corresponding
to all the parts of the body within the
feet and by having the whole body
represented in the feet, Reflexology
offers a means of treating the body as
a whole.
Clinical Reflexology with
Diet & Nutrition Advice
Fertility Issues | Maternity |
Anxiety | Sleep | Stress | Pain
International Institute of Reflexology
trained, I offer you a highly professional
clinical reflexology service with diet and
nutrition advice for a powerful, safe and
highly effective healing protocol.
This approach works when reflexology
provides the stimulus for recovery and
the right food intake for your health
type sustains it. Add to that Hopi ear
candling and knowledge of foot, hand
and ear acupuncture points and there is a
powerful mix of skills to relieve a number
of conditions. My approach has helped in
cases where other medical approaches have
failed.
problem, but they mainly deal with:
• Stress
• Anxiety
• Depression
• Low Self-esteem
• Relationship Problems
• Bereavement
• Trauma
• Other Abuse, in particular women who have suffered sexual abuse
during childhood
An independent, registered charity, NCS have recently moved to new,
larger premises as Managing Director, Leslie McDonald, explained: “We
realised about two years ago that we’d outgrown the old premises so,
after identifying the building we wanted to move into, we set about
designing a five-year strategy and funding plan to enable us to acquire
the building and do it up, so it was fit for our purpose; we now have a
modern premises which is double the size of our old premises. This allows us
to offer more services, we now have eight counselling rooms and we are
in the process of recruiting more counsellors. We also have rooms for hire
for training and meetings. The building has been refurbished to meet our
own customised requirements, so no longer do we have to make do with
an inadequate building; we’ve got somewhere designed and built for our
specific purposes.
“Overall, the plan for the next five years is to continue to provide
professional, high quality counselling and therapy, but we’re looking
to expand. Expand the number of clients we can see each month,
expand the services we can offer these clients, and expand to reach
different clients within the local area. These new premises, on Kent Street
in Nottingham, will enable us to push forward with the next phase of
development and provide more services within a better, purpose-built
environment.”
and explore difficult
emotions. Clients also
commented positively
on our counsellors and
administration staff.”
Due to a loss of funding
from the NHS and Local
Authorities, NCS are
appealing for donations,
which will enable them
to continue to provide
support to the most
vulnerable people.
Previous Client Testimonial:
“The level of service provided has been excellent. There is friendly face
when you arrive and this is very important. Everything is explained and my
counsellor was very understanding. I wish you the best of luck in the new
premises, keep doing your fantastic work.”
NCS are highly rated for their support and guidance by the people who
matter most – the clients. On average, they score 93% satisfaction rate.
Their most recent ‘client experience’ study discovered the numerous
ways in which counselling from NCS has helped clients, including better
self-understanding, improved mood and outlook on life and a reduction in
negative feelings and behaviour. The client feedback was overwhelmingly
positive.
Leslie added: “Over the years, NCS has provided support to thousands
of vulnerable people across Nottingham. The purpose of our ‘client
experience’ study was to assess the effectiveness of the service we
currently provide to enable us to provide a better service in the future. Our
clients say we’ve helped them feel empowered to take positive action to
improve their lives, learned strategies and tools to cope better in daily life
and dealt with difficult past events. Clients said that our counselling offered
them a much-needed opportunity to talk confidentially in a safe space
