Dear Beauty Consultants:
I want to congratulate all of you on celebrating the 9th Anniversary of
Mary Kay Philippines. You have been enriching woman’s lives in Philippines
for 9 years; you have been making dreams come true for 9 years. Here’s to
another 90 years!
The media is filled with Gloom and Doom of the economy and the financial crisis. This is the time
amongst any time that those around you needs someone steady and strong, full of faith and hope to
guide them thru a “dark night”. I am reminded of the story of an admiral commandeering his aircraft
carrier across the sea. He suddenly saw a beam of light in the distance. He started sending out a
signal towards where the light is. “I am coming thru, please make way.” The reply came back, “No,
you MUST make way.” He then answered, “I am Admiral Smith. You make way.” The answer came
back: “I am First Sailor Lee, you MUST make way.” Flustered with anger, Admiral Smith sent his next
signal, “I am an Aircraft Carrier, you make way.” The reply came back, “I am a LIGHTHOUSE, you better
make way.” During these time of uncertainty, we are called to be lighthouse to those around us. A
lighthouse perform two functions: 1) It shines light on area around us so that the Direction is clear. 2)
It is immoveable. You must be both, giving joy and bringing hope to all you come into contact with and
never faltering in your faith of your future in Mary Kay , as you move forward in your Mary Kay Career.
As you work towards our 10th Anniversary, may you be the light unto many. May you be blessed
richly in your career with Mary Kay. We love you and God bless you.”

Happy 9th Anniversary to Mary Kay Philippines! Mary Kay was first introduced
to the Philippines and for nine years, the mission of enriching women’s lives
continues to spread. I want to thank each and every one of you for continuing to
enrich the lives of women. Whether you enrich the lives of your customers, your team members, or the
lives of those around you, remember that you may be the only Mary Kay that people will ever meet.
No matter what, the opportunity that was introduced then is an even greater opportunity today. I
want to highlight the Mary Kay Philippines Red Jacket Rally, now in its second month. When you hold
your skin care classes, you automatically set yourself up to achieve the RJR in July. Mary Kay said to
share the opportunity with your best customers, not every customer. You need a customer base and if
you’re participating in the Mission 300 program, then keep your focus there. You can do it!
Once again, congratulations on nine great years and I look forward to many more to come! Keep
