Helmholtzstraße 2-9, minimum office In 1969, GSG purchased this former factory complex, built
in 1898-99, which was originally owned by the light bulb manufacturer Siemens & Halske in Berlin-Charlottenburg.
Today, the clinker-brick, listed building, is home to around 180 companies.
Alongside an exclusive »minimum shop« in Berlin’s Stilwerk, »minimum office« is Wilfried
Lembert’s second mainstay. The commercial space at Helmholtzstraße offers the ideal conditions
for his second designer furniture shop: thanks to variable spaces, plenty of light and presentation
walls of his own design, Lembert’s customers can get an idea of what their future office furnishings
will look like before they buy. In addition, Lembert‘s expansion has been facilitated by affordable
rent.
Helmholtzstr. 2–9, minimum office 1969 hat die GSG den 1898–1899 erbauten, ehemaligen Fabrikkomplex
des Glühlampenwerks Siemens & Halske in Berlin-Charlottenburg erworben. Heute nutzen
rund 180 Unternehmen den unter Denkmalschutz stehenden Klinkerbau.
»minimum office« ist, neben einem exklusiven »minimum Shop« im Berliner Stilwerk, das zweite
Standbein von Wilfried Lembert. Für seinen zweiten Designmöbelladen bieten die Gewerbeflächen in der
Helmholtzstraße beste Voraussetzungen: Dank variabler Flächen und viel Licht können sich Kunden hier
mittels eigens entwickelter Präsentationswände schon vor dem Kauf eine räumliche Vorstellung von ihrer zukünftigen
Büroausstatung machen. Außerdem hat eine erschwingliche Miete die Expansion erleichtert. �
