Adalbertstraße. 5, Atelier Mohr The commercial centre at Adalbertstraße was acquired by the GSG in 1971, restored and expanded until 1993, based on its original 1859 structure. Today the Ensemble houses 33 small companies, ranging from printing and film industries to a couple of tradesmen’s workshops. Completely renovated by the GSG, the premises often serve as a film backdrop. One of the oldest companies at Adalbertstraße 5 is the Atelier Mohr. Shop window dummies have been produced, sold and rented here since 1979. When the former prop builder, Jan Wegener took over the studio in 2004, he brought Atelier Mohr international success. For Mr. Wegener, the main advantages of his commercial centre are, above all, the synergies with other creative people in his vicinity, and the central location. Adalberstr. 5, Atelier Mohr Den Gewerbehof in der Adalbertstraße hat die GSG 1971 erworben und bis 1993 auf Basis seiner Substanz von 1859 saniert und erweitert. Heute beherbergt das Ensemble 33 kleine Unternehmen aus der Druck- und Filmbranche sowie einige Handwerksbetriebe. Von der GSG umfangreich saniert, dienen die Räumlichkeiten oft als Szenerie für Kinofilme. Eines der ältesten Unternehmen in der Adalbertstraße 5 ist das Atelier Mohr. Seit 1979 werden hier Schaufensterfiguren hergestellt, verkauft und verliehen. Als 2004 der ehemalige Requisitenbauer Jan Wegener das Atelier übernahm, verhalf er dem Atelier Mohr auch zu internationalem Erfolg. Für Wegener zählen vor allem die Synergien mit den anderen Kreativen in seinem Umfeld und seine zentrale Lage zu den eindeutigen Vorteilen seines Gewerbehofs. 33
