A NOTE TO BUYERS<br />

Please note that as a general requirement, in addition to the base fee we charge for each <strong>artist</strong>, ground/air transportation,<br />

meals, sound & lights, and lodging are also usually required.<br />

Additionally, the <strong>artist</strong>s’ musical equipment such as keyboards, floor monitors, microphones, amps, etc., are also required.<br />

This equipment can generally be rented or borrowed fairly inexpensively, if you don’t already have it ‘in house.’<br />

For some of our groups, a local band or particular musicians may also be necessary... and in fact will save you money<br />

by providing them.<br />

We take pride in making it easy for experienced OR first-time buyers to use our <strong>artist</strong>s and will walk you through each<br />

step of the way. After confirming availability of an <strong>artist</strong>, we will issue a contract complete with <strong>full</strong> technical and staging<br />

requirements, etc. We leave nothing in question and will personally review each detail with you.<br />

<strong>Celebrity</strong> <strong>Direct</strong> <strong>Entertainment</strong> and each of our <strong>artist</strong>s will eagerly present several different buying options to you and will<br />

help you choose which might be the best fit for your budget, venue, audience and tastes. We do offer packages which<br />

are all-inclusive.<br />

<strong>Celebrity</strong> <strong>Direct</strong> <strong>Entertainment</strong> works with you to present a first-class event!<br />

call or e-mail us. In addition to biography, photos, set list, technical<br />

requirements, etc., we can also provide audio and video samples.<br />

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS<br />

Below, we outline just some of the questions we routinely get each day via e-mail, phone, postal mail and fax. If there is a<br />

question you have that isn’t presented here, please contact us and we’ll do our best to answer it for you.<br />

Q: What do your music <strong>artist</strong>s charge for their performances<br />

A: The answer to this question relies on several factors. Generally, however, CDE has quality national entertainment that is available for less<br />

than $15,000, most of which are in the $4000 - $8000 range, with many being less. Factors such as routing and scheduling opportunities,<br />

type of venue and event, multiple dates, and audience size are just some of the variables that CDE and our <strong>artist</strong>s take into consideration<br />

when giving you a quote for a performance. Often times, different ‘configurations’ of a particular group or act can be customized as well to fit<br />

the buyer’s budget - another reason, in some cases, the fee range given has such a variance. This fee range is only to give you, the buyer,<br />

a very general idea of the possible base fees. CDE does offer affordable packages and quotes with transportation charges included, and can<br />

make those necessary arrangements ourselves. Also, please note that we do have entertainment which is available for less than the figures<br />

given.... with national-quality entertainment available in the $500 - $1000 range depending on location!<br />

Q: Are interviews for publicity available with your <strong>artist</strong>s prior to the show<br />

A: Interviews with radio / TV stations, newspaper, and other members of the media are welcomed. We ask that all interview requests be<br />

mailed or faxed to our national office on a company letterhead, and we will coordinate the interview. Because of travel and time constraints,<br />

we ask that all interviews be arranged and approved at least two weeks in advance.<br />

Q: What type of show should I bring in for my event<br />

A: This question varies greatly depending on factors such as type of event, budget allocated for the event, target audience, etc. Fortunately,<br />

<strong>Celebrity</strong> <strong>Direct</strong> <strong>Entertainment</strong> has acts perfect for virtually any event ranging from private parties to large corporate events to <strong>full</strong> scale<br />

productions. We work with the <strong>artist</strong>s showcased on our <strong>roster</strong> page because we believe in the quality of work that they do, and know that no<br />

matter the audience or budget they will make the show a time to remember!<br />

Q: Will the musician, band, actor or athlete that we have booked be willing to sign autographs for the event sponsors, etc.<br />

A: Absolutely! We book only acts that are friendly and easy to work with. Included in most of their contracts is a clause stating that they must<br />

sign some complimentary autographs for event sponsors. The entertainers we work with realize they wouldn’t be in the industry if it wasn’t for<br />

the fans and sponsoring buyers. Most of our acts also prefer to sign autographs and sell merchandise after performances. We ask you to be<br />

specific regarding meet-n-greets, etc. when we are contracting the event so that everyone is clear to what is expected of them.<br />

Q: What other tools do you have to help me decide on who I should book<br />

A: If you are interested in a particular <strong>artist</strong>, or need help finding the perfect one, please let us know by filling out our online inquiry form or by<br />

contacting us via e-mail or phone. For most of our <strong>artist</strong>s, we have video/audio recordings, photos, complete biographical information,<br />

references, and cost comparison sheets - all designed to make your decisions easier!<br />

Q: In addition to providing entertainment, can you help plan or execute other facets of our event<br />

A: <strong>Celebrity</strong> <strong>Direct</strong> <strong>Entertainment</strong> is a “<strong>full</strong>-service” entertainment management company and booking agency... so the answer to that<br />

question is YES! We can assist with themes, catering, ticket printing, hiring the sound company, arranging travel, hotels, and virtually any<br />

other detail that you need covered.<br />

Q: Do entertainment management companies and booking agencies need to be licensed Is CDE licensed<br />

A: Most states DO require talent agencies to be licensed. Several do not. <strong>Celebrity</strong> <strong>Direct</strong> <strong>Entertainment</strong> is a licensed and bonded talent<br />

agency and is regulated by the Florida Department of Business & professional Regulation. Our license # is TA0000705.<br />
