Look into the gorilla’s hazel eyes staring at you
from under a bulbous brow, its wrinkled leathery
complexion flexing as it finishes a mouthful of
vegetation. The humidity and arduous walk to track
this magnificent, imposing primate was worth it –
this is a travel experience you’ll never forget.
Mist hovers over the peaks of Volcanoes National
Park as you push through the thick rainforest,
catching a glimpse of another gorilla and its young.
The elder’s knuckles gently graze the ground as the
fluffy child uses its tiny fingertips to cling on to its
parent’s powerful shoulders. Rwanda is home to
over 300 mountain gorillas and is the greatest
place in the world for sightings.
Pass through remote villages, hoping to stumble
across traditional Intore dancers jumping over two
metres into the air, and head into Nyungwe National
Park, wandering through towering trees in search
of chimpanzees, colobus monkeys and greychecked
mangabeys swinging from the branches.
Rwanda is a stunning country and we’ve used our
experience and local contacts to offer you some of
this magical land’s finest accommodation. Rwanda
is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Book today.
